People say retail is harder than classic solely based around the fact that there is a mythic difficulty. They could make a mythic naxx with one more mechanic for each boss, more hp/damage, and then your entire argument would fall apart. It wouldn’t even be that hard or require much of anything from blizzard to do. So if blizzard just decided on a whim to make a mythic naxx, you wouldn’t be able to say retail is harder.
So tell me other than that why retail is actually a better game.
So, if they made Classic harder it wouldn’t be easier than retail? You don’t say.
Retail is way better for collectors, completionists, and the RP community. None of those have to do with any Mythic difficulty.
The point is that using retail being “harder” based on an arbitrary thing that could be changed at any time by blizzard as to why the game is better is stupid. blizzard could literally tune a mythic naxx over a month or so, release it, and then the entire argument for retail being better or harder is done.

Neither are better. Retail sucks, has for a while, and I’ve already played classic, no thanks.

I want to hear why retail is better than classic without someone saying mythic is harder than classic raids.

Except retail is literally nothing like classic, otherwise I would play retail. I would even play wrath at this point.

Wait I’m confused, are you asking about which is “better” or which is “more difficult”? because those aren’t necessarily the same thing
If you’re just talking about the raids I usually see people saying “more mechanics in retail” and classic raids are on par with LFR retail raids but I’m not familiar with 100% of fights in classic. I can say everything in BFA is more difficult than Molten Core though 
They’re not, naxx is probably on par with heroic retail raids(but requires a lot more prep/consumeables.)
I watched a video of MC Ragnaros from a Vanilla private server and that was some of the most boring crap I’ve ever seen in an MMO, I don’t know how people actually have fun with it

Mc was made for people who didn’t know the game. You have to judge based off of naxx.
If people are taking literal minutes to down raids in Classic, not sure what other example you’ll accept.
I don’t like Classic. I like Retail. Ergo, Retail is better than Classic for me.
