Pirates’ day starts at 10am. It says so on my in-game calendar.
It’s 10am on my server.
But there is no pirate lady to sell me stuff?
If the event starts at a different time. Shouldn’t it correctly say, in the in-game calendar, that the event starts at 12pm instead?
[edit]
Thanks lovely folks.
Event starts at 10am PST. In-game calendar is NOT your local server time.

Check out the clock on the map, when you hover over it with your mouse it should also display your server time.

It is 10am on my server time.
Holiday events always begin at 10am Pacific Time.
Server time is not relevant as servers have different server times and events begin at the same real world time for all servers.

Server time doesn’t matter everything’s on Pacific Time.
Ah makes sense. I always look at my server time because it’s different than my time irl, and then figure it out from there.
Alright thanks for clearing that up. Wish the in-game calendar would at least adjust that to display the correct ‘local’ server time.
So that would make it, 2 hours from now?

Oh, thanks for this post. According to my calendar it’s the 20th already and it made it look like Pirate Day was over but Brewfest was starting and I thought I missed out on the new drake armor. But then I was so confused because not only were there no Pirates, but there were no Brewfest things going on either. Glad I saw your post!

You’re welcome!
At least brewfest lasts longer than just a day, so missing the start wouldn’t be the end of it!
Just a little over an hour to grab your dragon booty!

Yep! Honestly, I don’t even know why server time exists anymore.
It’s usually always Blizzard time so usually time set on the west coast is when stuff actually happens.
Oh my gosh. I never knew this. Thank you!
