Explain Forsaken eye colors to me

Okay, first off, I want to say I am digging the new Forsaken eye color choices you are giving in Shadowlands, that way I don’t come across as one of those people that seem to complain no matter what you give them.

That being said… um, can someone explain the logic or lore behind how the Forsaken can actually have these different glow colors?

Because magic.

You can actually communicate a lot of lore about your character from the eyes.

Yellow - Old school Deader. Full bones exposed option. Raised from the dirt, not Valkyr.
Grey - New school. Probably fished up when we were looking for Jaina’s brother.
Green - Actively still practicing Fel magic
Red - Fire Mage
Blue - Ice Mage
Purple - Arcane Mage or Shadow Priest
White - Holy/Disc Priest. Probably works for whatever the Argent Dawn calls themselves now

It’s likely that they were always there, just not in the game assets.

Before Blood Elves were added to the game, all elves shared the Night Elf model. It’s not like there was this change in lore that explained the shift in height and posture, it was just accepted that they always probably looked like that and the only limitation was what game assets were available at the time.

Thanks peeps!

We can launch fireballs the size of meteors from the sky even indoors…

We can kill a dragon the size of the Chrysler Building with a fish

A Pandaren with a beer gut that’d rival any Nordic Man, could run the same speed if not faster than a lithe, gymnastic, runner’s body built Night Elf?

A gnome, the size of an obese chihuahua, can hold a sword the size of Warren Sapp, ex-defensive lineman for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, can swing it with agility and skill as if the sword itself wasn’t made of metal but of wet cardboard and balsa wood

And the one thing…THE ONE THING that sets you off is the different eye colors for Forsaken?

Oh I’m a total sucker for that. Back when I played DnD I had to often explain my character if he was looking around because he had no visible pupil. Playing an arcane trickster that’s good at lying. So being able to hide if he’s looking at specific things or people fit the design. You had to be really close to notice his eyes moving

It doesn’t set me off at all. I just wanted to understand it.

They’ve been implanted with colored light bulbs, they can pop em out whenever they want a different color.

Alternatively:
Yellow- popped 'em out of a paladin
Grey- stock, never replaced
Green- popped 'em out of a warlock (was going to say “or DH”, but, well, DUH…)
Red- popped 'em out of an orc
Blue- popped 'em out of an elf
Purple- popped 'em out of an elf… but did not refrigerate them properly
White- time for a fresh set!

Forsaken eyes are only cosmetics.
With our mind, we see beyond mortal planes.
We are her fists and weapons.
She shall not die.
Look into my eyes, you will see.
