Is it possible to turn off the experience factor in Classic? Just wondering if there would be a level 19 twinkage Battle grounds possiability?
No EXP from BGs in classic. So yes Twinking will be a thing, you just have a limited # of SFK/DM/WC/etc runs to get your gear so you don’t overlevel.
Nope. You can twink in BGs fine, as you don’t gain EXP in BGs in vanilla. That was a feature added to retail to combat twinks.
You wont be able to turn off XP, but Battlegrounds also don’t give XP in Classic.
So twinking will be a thing, complete with stomping the unsuspecting undergeared players.

To get your dungeon gear without over leveling, it helps to be carried through at an earlier level while the enemies are still red as they give way less experience.
nah you can only turn it on. turning it off… seems counter productive
Being ran through by a 60 in general kills the exp which is nice. If you get SUPER desperate (and close to 20) then you can stand outside for all the trash and only come in for boss kills.

I just realized somethin if twinkage is a thing in Vanilla…that means players would open a second account and using another computer and run their twinkage characters through the dungeons for gear. And eventually cause another twinkage war level 19, 29, 39, 49, 59 ?
Or…have friends to run you through. Might be a bit easier.
Generally you just have friends do it. You could sub a second account and do it that way though, nothing illegal about it.
