Currently we’re getting a bug where we have an “experience eliminated” in m0 dungeons, which is fine and no real issue there, BUT I’m a lvl80 trying to help my lvl77 friend run through normal dungeons and we somehow get the “experience eliminated” debuff when neither of us went to cut our exp off?
The entire dungeon we had a 5min timer of no exp never time out, meaning my lvl77 friend got no exp from mob kills OR dungeon completion.
Update:
Upon entering a new dungeon after letting the debuff timer tick down and disappear, we entered a new instance from dungeon finder, and within seconds of entering, we got the debuff again.
This might be a new Corrupted Blood Incident but with the “Experience Eliminated” debuff, meaning anybody levelling is at risk of getting an exp cut debuff and not being able to level any alts.

This exact same thing is happening to us while trying to help a friend level an alt, we have tried multiple times and always get the debuff, so they get zero experience

This happened to me and it took a lot of research to get it fixed. I tried various methods, some of them extreme, to get my exp bar back, but the solution turned out to be both simple and complicated. Although I had never chosen to have my exp frozen, the only way to bring it back was to visit the NPC who freezes it and request it be turned back on.
Easier said than done since not only have I never done this, but the dude was no joke INVISIBLE. I actually walked right by him the first time I tried to find him and it took some online searching to find him. This was on the Horde side and his name is Slahtz, so I did /target Slahtz and found the icon on my minimap at the very top on the southeastern building in the Valley of Honor in Orgrimar. The square building all the way at up on the highest floor standing to the left of a couple npc and in stealth.
I spoke to him, and he asked if I would like him to unfreeze my exp…For ten gold coins…
I did so and there was my experience bar again. Hope this helps. Blizz, wtf?
