Since they are pushing back pre- patch will they leave the xp buff up?
They’re not pushing it back.
A date for prepatch was never given.
However, if what you say is true… in regards to the XP boost being extended… it could be a clue.
The xp bonus has been stated to be in effect until the level squish drops.
Don’t know why people thought there was a date for the xp
they have stated exp buff will be up until pre patch launches a long time ago. so no need to worry.
They get confused with the Rep buff which ends on October 1st at 12am PDT.
Actually a blue post said simply “September”.
And there is an report on wowhead indicating that the version of the prepatch on the beta has been changed from Release to Test that seems to indicate it is still being worked on. They may well extend it if that’s so.
But I don’t see the prepatch date , is this thread a reference to John Cena??
You linked reputation. The discussion is on the experience boost. The experience boost was stated a long time ago to last until pre-patch. What you are discussing is 100% reputation, as is in the title you linked.

Due to the popularity of the Winds of Wisdom 100% experience buff in Battle for Azeroth, we’re extending its benefit through to the release of the Shadowlands pre-patch!
Ah ok, my bad. I may need more coffee…
