Experience Bar Question

What do you call the little segments on the XP bar? You know, the 20 things, each is 5% of a level?

Do you call them bars, bubbles, fractions, etc? I am curious!!! Please share your thoughts. Thanks!!!

I call it ā€œbarrinhasā€, which is Portuguese for ā€œlittle barsā€.

I don’t really pay attention to them. I look at the percentage. ā€œI’m xx% to level x,ā€ is how I always see it.

I always say ā€œbubblesā€ too.

Bars. They aren’t anything else, just bars. Like Mars.

Not bubbles, like Hubble.

Well I think it’s confusing since it’s an experience bar.

It’s like yo dawg I heard you like bars, so I put bars in your bar so you can level while you level.

Whats the difference between bars and experience bars, and cars, car batteries, car engines, etc. It is the same thing. The whole thing is called your Experience Bar, and the little bips are called Bars. Done and Done.

No see you have it backwards. You have a CAR (whole) which is one word and then a CAR BATTERY (part) which is two words.

You are saying EXPERIENCE BAR (whole) as two words and BAR (part) which is one word! TOO CONFUSING and it puts my noozles in a knot.

I think you are on to something though. They should be called little bips, not bars.

BIPS.

Oi now, bips is my word, dont take it and use it for something that it isnt.

Bips = bits or pieces

Well, I don’t ever refer to it as an experience bar. I refer to it in the 20 bar segments that comprise it. 20 bars is a full ā€œlevelā€ to me, not anything else!

I’ve got no reason to refer to the whole bar as anything other than a level.
