I’m glad blizzard gave us another button to push, but the hpm of this spell is abysmal, its as bad as its actual healing and dmg at 1500 mana too! I use it in dungeons, open world, and torgast and it only hits a mob for 1 damage. Even combining it with soothing mist for its occasional proc, does so so little healing at such a high mana cost (Renewing mist is 1.1k). Has anyone had any use with this? I’m about to just take it off my bars and Im genuinely frustrated that this spell is so damn awful.
It’s not worth pressing for MW. For WW you only press it for cheap chi, but it still feels like filler. More useful than MW. It’s good for BM to suck in healing spheres. I kind of wish it did that for WW as well. I hate having to run around to pick those up.

The best part of Expel Harm is the fact that it gives 1 chi on a 0.5 GCD and a extremely cheap energy cost.
A nice little chi boost to help us get out Rising Sun Kick or Fists of Fury is always lovely.
It’s pretty terrible for MW, not gonna lie. I haven’t had it on my bars since the prepatch went live, and I’ve never noticed or really felt like I’m missing a piece of my toolkit.
If you find yourself starved for Chi, expel harm is good to click to get chi to use spinning crane kick again.
It needs to be buffed for brew, it’d not a good self heal at all
yep. In terms of healing terrible, that’s why all it is used for is to boost chi.
yeah im pretty much using it on cooldown for no other reason than chi gen, the heal is actually respectable in solo content as ww, and with conduits that buff it by 60%… it could get pretty solid indeed
use it all the time for brm and ww. added 25% from kyrian isnt bad either.
I believe its a bug and if not then that spell is stupid. It does 1 dmg every time you use it no matter how much you heal, and the healing is too low too.
The dealing damage aspect of it, even when working correctly, is a joke. It’s a good ability for BrM and WW but definitely not for the laughable damage. I wish they’d give it a a different effect if it dealing damage is too unbalanced.
