Expansion so far & Weathered Harbinger Crest Cap

So far the expansion is great and I’m enjoying every aspect of it.
I’ve even done all the quests in each zone, all the world quests and every bit of new content I could find.

I was having fun farming Valorstones and upgrading my gear all weekend.
I dug up the piles of dirt for Valorstones and queued for Random Heroic Dungeons for the Crest.

But now I have hit a wall and I can’t continue upgrading my gear.
Why is there a season cap to the Weathered Harbinger Crest?
Is there anyway I can continue to farm them crests to finish upgrading my gear even thought I hit the cap?

If not, I don’t see the purpose of having this “Season Maximum” cap.

There has been season caps for a while not. The reason you can’t get anymore is also because the season has not started.

Give it a little more than a week and you’ll be good to progress.

But when Season 1 starts these crest won’t have any value.
The Weathered Harbinger Crest are the crests you want to farm to upgrade your gear in preparation for the upcoming Normal Raid.

I understand you can’t farm the Carved Harbinger Crest infinitely right now, even though the main content to farm them is not out yet.
