Expanding the Development Pipeline of World of Warcraft

Wonder if they’ll ever hire actual community managers and not extremist fanatics to mod this forum, believe it or not some suggestions here actually make it into the game and it would be useful to have actually qualified community managers that can filter out the numerous fodder threads that flood this forum on a daily basis.

You don’t actually care about CSRs who were fired please stop virtue signaling its pathetic

Does a larger Dev team mean more diverse content for everyone though?

As someone who played Asheron’s Call for years until WoW came out, this is awesome news. The quests were crap, but the combat and pvp were great. Being able to actually strafe and dodge attacks from other players is something I truly missed in all the other MMO’s out there.

I doubt that is a change that is going to be made in WoW.

MS bought Activision Blizzard not just Blizzard Entertainment

THey were already shutting down their game before they were bought

Small correction, they haven’t actually bought it yet and the deal may still fall through.

True but it looked like he was saying MS only bought/purchased Blizzard Entertainment and that was the point I was trying to clarify

Gotcha

I would love an Asheron’s One style spinnoff at some point that game was really good and would be fun with the addition of modern tech and level design if they kept to the original core gameplay with just a sprinkle of mob mechanics.

QA is part of the Development field and process.

They aren’t developers and getting rid of QA staff or customer support people has zero impact on whether the game gets shipped sooner or later.

QA is in the Dev field, you must not work in the game industry for a typical consumer response.
