Does anyone else get the “invalid target” bug when trying to use exorcism mid fight, like one second it works and then the next it doesn’t want to. Is this a known thing and is there a fix for it because it throws off rotation?
I haven’t had much of any issues with exorcism thus far. That said, there have been so many bugs popping up that would have been sussed out had the had a longer, larger beta that I wouldn’t be shocked if it were a bug. Submit a ticket and see if you can recreate the bug consistently.

no macro, just at times when I go to use it doesn’t activate saying invalid target, typically I must click off that target and back on then it might work, or it’ll work on another target simply fine. it may be an old code bug cause exorcism use to only work against certain types and might somehow recalling back to that randomly. But this has happened on boss fights recently and that is frustrating when it happens because it won’t correct itself.
I had the same problem but with chain harvest on my enh shaman alt. Like one time I used it fine anf the next one it just said invalid target. Tried clicking and same error. what “fixed” it was dragging the spell from the spellbook again to my bars. Very weird.
I’ve been getting this too, specifically with Exorcism, so it may or may not be related to the old ‘invalid target’ bug, which seemed to be related to the self-cast function.
Though I also had it happen when healing myself with WoG yesterday, something which has the potential to involve repair bills given how much we need to self-heal.
Yup. It will be off cooldown and I cannot cast it. I guess I didnt try changing targets but will. Happens like once every couple instances. Do you use Hekili?
