Execute for Fury hits like a wet paper towel

Seriously, it hits for almost the same damage as Bloodthirst, not Bloodbath mind you, that hits for more, BLOODTHIRST. We were supposed to get 10% Execute buff for every spec but last second Fury got 7% instead, 3% extra would literally change nothing but still thought I would point it out. Execute at this point is used exclusively for rage, as you can’t afford to take any Execute talents or you lose an insane amount of DPS, so either remove some of our talents and make them basekit for example, Taste for Blood, Improved Whirlwind (seriously why do Fury Warrior and BM Hunter have to spec into AoE that’s so weird), Fresh Meat and Hack and Slash so we can afford to take Execute talents or give Execute a solid 20% damage increase so it isn’t an ability you rarely hit even when you can hit it. Execute should be an ability that takes top priority for Warrior DPS, Arms should obviously hit way harder with it, but Fury should still hit hard with it as well, this is THE Warrior ability and right now it’s 5th on the Priority list, that’s just sad…

It hits even for less than bloodthirst…

I think i looked up and saw a 15k hit from execute one time and just took it off my bar.

I personally hate managing execute abilities that have low cds but that’s just me.
I think they should just have bloodthirst do more damage below 25% hp as baseline (outside of the talent)

Of course you only got 7%. You have two 2H Weapons for increased stats.

Execute is filler for Fury right now. Slayer only hits it as a low priority, or when it’s 3 stacks, or to refresh stacks of Overwhelmed if it’s falling off. It still grants very high rage as a generator, and does decent damage. The issue is that it doesn’t contribute much else without the Marked for Execution stacks (for Slayer).

Raging Blow contributes Slaughtering Strikes, and Bloodthirst contributes Cold Steel, Hot Blood. For Thane, BT can trigger Thunder Blasts, and Raging Blow can trigger Lightning Strikes (which can trigger Avatar, and empowered BTs with no cooldown).

Execute has been relegated to an Arms and Protection damage dealer/dump for now. I don’t mind, since it’s a lot more satisfying to hit RB/BT again. I’d hate to go back to S1 Dragonflight, where Fury’s tier was designed around Execute, and Execute did… nothing.

Execute on Fury is basicly no charges of raging blow/crushing blow and bloodthirst/bloodbath not up and rage less then 80 and sudden death is proc’d then Execute to gain enough rage to use Rampage to maintain Enrage. Its simple, ignore juggernaut and marked for execute buffs/debuffs. Rage filler for rampage to maintain Enrage.

My farts can wipe a raid, my execute just tickles. Seems like it’s more for arms and prot not but it does provide some bonuses and decent rage so low prio for fury.

I am going skipping to the source of the problem. There is a warrior bias that has been in the game since I started playing. It’s really developers catering to the complaints of people who play other classes. There are plenty of people who don’t care what the warrior has and do their own thing. If warrior has good mobility, a good burst, or an ability that hits hard Bizzard gets it flooded with complaints and the nerfs come.

You know it’s bad when you can make SLAM do more than Execute in Fury…

I think that to enhance the Fury Warrior’s damage on a single target, Execute should be significantly buffed (basically hitting for double) and removed from any cleave effect, so that it targets only one enemy. That would be a good way to make it useful again and increase Fury’s single-target damage, which is frankly mediocre.

Yes it does.
