Was there a reason behind splitting us between East and West? What was the objective? What are you trying to improve?

It’s so we wouldn’t be confusion.

If east coast servers holiday ends @12 am local time but I join a west coast server bg where it’s 9PM still, my head would explode.

Seriously, this has gotta be one of the dumbest reasons for such a massive change I’ve ever seen.

Used to be able to play at least one BG during the morning hours, before I went into work. Thats dead now.

They said it’s so that everyone has their BG bonus weekends start and end at exactly the same time.

Maybe that really was a factor, but I strongly suspect that the main reason for the change was so that Blizzard could streamline things on their end and make it easier for themselves to do the honor points bookkeeping.
