Not everyone had epic mounts, not everyone had epic gear, not everyone raided, not everyone got rank 14.

Found the guy who doesn’t like Classic.
Plenty of people don’t like Classic. They think we deserve Vanilla.
That’s no true at all. Rank 14 is an awful system. A system intended to provide an alternative way of gearing for PvP’rs to PvE shouldn’t be restricted from working dads and moms with 4 kids.
Compared to PvP, PvE isn’t nearly as inaccessible. It may require 40 people, but MC can still be done in hours.
PvP gearing on the other hand, is completely unfair by comparison.

As long as they come down HARD on Afkers, Bots, and the like. I dont even care if the Rank 14 climb is hell.
With CRBG’s though, its going to be abused.
Rank 14 was by no means an inclusive system nor a reasonable goal for most players. It was the system we had back then and I don’t mind it being in as it was back then. The exalted caster weapons out of AB and the 2h from AV were pretty decent and useful. Not a lot of options but still an alternative to raiding.
I don’t think theres anything wrong with exclusion, as it it does effect the value of things wether people like it or not (we saw with the mage tower how people tried to pretend how prestige wasn’t a commonly known concept). I was never tremendously geared in classic but I was proud of what I achieved.
