Edit:
where was this announced? ![]()
Blizzcon during the classic what’s next section.
Oh my, never thought it would happen! ![]()
Wasn’t what was announced self found (an optional mode on existing servers) not solo self found?
There is a difference or so I’ve been told.
Yes, the official announcement was for Self Found and not Solo Self Found. Either people do not understand the distinction or they are just assuming SSF because that is what people tend to do.
How is the announced self found differ from current HC?
Yeah, this means there’ll still be warriors with priest/paladin on /follow.
I’d play SSF, but SF sounds not worth it after I already played hardcore.
Either go all the way in, only dungeon grouping (disable xp gains for outdoors grouping), or have a mode that’s once again semi-hc.
You can’t trade, use AH, or mail items between characters.
Any specifics released on how this will be implemented? Soul of Iron? Title? Option at creation? or some other way we haven’t thought of.
That isn’t all the way in. True SSF wouldn’t include dungeons, you wouldn’t group at at all. (solo self found). You’re thinking of the addon rules. You could play SF and limit your dungeons if you want to mirror the addon.
Excited for SSF
It’s self found on already existing HC servers. There is no “solo”, you do not get your own server or layer.
I mean it should include dungeons, you’d just need to solo them ![]()
There’s currently no in-game support for self found. That’s why they announced they are adding it at BlizzCon.
I guess I didn’t word that very well. Thanks. Wasn’t there a solo dungeon achieve in that addon? I recall something about it.
How can you make that face shouldn’t you be beaming? Something like this ![]()
No need to be so expressionless when you seemed hyped about ssf before?
Eyr is short for Eeyore.
The winnie the poo character?
Yes.
The terminally depressed donkey.
sounds like it’s just gonna be a toggle, which is fine i guess, but apparently we have to wait until Q2 2024 for something so basic ![]()
