For months I have been dealing with wow crashing ude to this error. I have an I9 13900kf cpu and 7900xt GPU. I have looked at other guides and tried every option available to me. I changed my power settiings in bio, deleted and reinstalled drivers, disabled addons, overlays, and everything else I could think of. I also reinstalled windows fully.
The game is basically unplayable at this point. The new patch has made it worse, I can not play more that 5 minutes without a crash.
The error I get is:
Exception_Internal_Error
0xC00000E5 (EXCEPTION_INTERNAL_ERROR) at 000007ffa2b351b6a 0x00000000e1d04e02
0x000000000000100
Having the same issue here, never had that problem before today though. Now I can’t launch the game for more than 5 minutes
Although I have an I9 14900KF CPU, this sounds like a familiar issue with Intel processors were having two years ago. What I think you need to do is perform a BIOS update. I’d recommend looking into that to see if there’s an available BIOS update for your motherboard. While I’m not saying this is your issue, at least it’s a direction you can investigate.
Ive already done this and still have issues

Am also suffering through this error, every time I launch my game since 12.1 dropped. Reinstalled, renamed my WTF and Interface folders to try a blank slate, made more space on my storage, nothing’s worked.

Guess I’ll just hope and pray tuesday’s maintenance fixes it. Glad I didn’t resub when 12.1 dropped

If you have an Intel CPU of 13th or 14th generation you can try under clocking it but bios patches don’t fix anything they actually just slow down the destruction of the CPU. So if you have a 13th or 14th generation Intel the only thing you can do is keep underclocking it until you replace it. 42x seems to be stable for most of the 13th and 14th generation chips even if they have degraded
I did the undervolt and was able to slow crashes. I have since gone through intel, they extended the warranty for the 13th and 14th gen cpus. I returned the old one and got a replacement. Will post again if I still crash at full voltage
Just as an FYI, the CPU they send for replacement carries the same issues, but the BIOS updates can slow their showing up.
