Does doing this impact general performance? I’m not terribly savvy when it comes to tweaking settings like this or what the implications are.
I’m still not a huge fan of having to adjust stuff like this either specifically to play WoW, but at this point it feels like I either have to or just quit the game since it’s become so unstable.
I personally dont like using xtu because you’d have to use it every time you reboot your pc. if you can do it in your bios itll stay that way til you dont want it to.
Either one will lower your top fps for sure but not really by much especially in wow/if you dont lower things too much.
He probably has a different long term solution and is just using xtu to pinpoint. You just gotta lower something in your bios to fix it.
