Started today after the realms were taken down for an hour and brought back up. No addons, and it happens every few minutes.

Same but it’s only one of my characters, my shaman. I can play the others.

Have tried repair tool, no add-ons, deleting saved variables. No help at all. It seems to happen mostly when I change zones but it can happen anywhere.

I found this same advice on reddit. I’ve so far not experienced another crash since I implemented their solution.

For folks on this thread, a potential stopgap includes the following:

  • Go to Game Menu, then Options
  • Under System click on Graphics
  • Scroll to the bottom and uncheck Optional GPU Features and Advanced Work Submit
