What will be the best path to getting exalted with Thunder Bluff as undead? Will I be able to get it done before AV and cloth turn ins are active in phase 3 and 5?
Skip your undead starting quests and instead do the tauren ones. This will get quite a lot of rep as long as you are low level.
I am going to say no without having done any research on it, moslty due to undead starting out at a lower rep level with everyone.
I donât believe they ever said cloth turn ins wonât be in at the start.

cloth turn ins are part of the aq war effort. they wonât be in until then.
Wrong, thereâs comments going as far back as 1.5.1 on archived sites. It was added with patch 1.5 and not with the war effort. It could very well be in the game at launch considering that it was in the Beta.

of course that means wool cloth is going to be obscenely expensive since the level range it drops is so narrow and the demand overall is already so high.
It has nothing to do with the war effort. Furthermore, I think the phases are only for dungeons and BGs, not every single quest in the game. But they havenât said either way, we just have to wait and find out. People have said the NPCs were there during the betas, so unless they were removed prior to launch, they should be there.
you donât need too much of the lower cloths, iirc Runecloth was the only one that was repeatable.
Yep, just take the zep over to Org and corpse run over to Mulgore. You should be high enough level to accept the starting zone quests there when you arrive. It was about the same time to do the âgnome on tigerâ thing back then, even with the lower start rep. IIRC, there was some splash over rep from most of the Durator quests but that could be fuzzy memory, and definitely what was said beforeâŚcloth turn-ins (not AQ)!
Oh, and of course, use the filters on wowhead to squeeze any bit of rep from any one-off quests or the like (there were a few hubs, too, for Tauren, IIRC).
