Then you switch to Visage instead of Dracthyr form. I for one do not want to be forced into Visage just in case I want to rest my wings and use a different mount for the day. I mean, heck, being able to mount in Dracthyr form was something players requested. Originally Blizz did intend on making Dracthyr shift to Visage to mount.
Honestly, I don’t think this is a big issue. It only looks janky because of how wooden the character animation is. If the wings had physics movement while you were mounted, I think it would look fine. After all, I never had an issue with Prince Cornelius riding his bumblebee mount.
I didn’t know they can even do that! lol I heard they can also even just be invisible and get out of the aggro and their bear form doesn’t get cc from mobs?
All druids can shapeshift to drop ensnares, and if you talent for it feral has a vanish like rogues.
I came here to post that Dracthyr need to be able to transition from gliding to soaring, even if it keeps the cast time(it shouldn’t).
1 is a RACIAL
The other is literally part of its core mechanics.
They aren’t the same. Stop complaining.
Some wings physics while mounted would help big time. But also making visage castable while mounted would be a nice QoL change.
