After sitting out much of Shadowlands I chose to replay it on my new evoker. However, right before you get your covenant ability in the bastion story you encounter a dead end with no follow up quests being offered. The quest log even displays, “level to 49 to continue.”

Having exact same problem.
Same here. I finished the Eternity’s Call chapter and am now unable to continue progress in Shadowlands until my lvl 60 evoker is lvl 49 to pick up the next quest

happened just after finishing the quest with the Kyrian ritual vestments

Same here. I just submited a ticket about this in game. I just finished the quest The first cleansing and now im stuck. “Reach level 49 to continue.”
I have managed to at least get the level requirement to change by having a party member try different chromie timelines and letting me sync to those to get my level down. I have discovered, however, it just changes the level requirement to now say “Reach level 10 to continue” and when we de-sync it goes back to “Reach level 49 to continue”. It is also good to point out that we can’t access the Chromie timelines ourselves since we are 60 and Dragonflight hasn’t actually released yet. The Archon’s Answer is the name of the quest I can’t accept that requires level 49

Same problem here. Just wanted to use the SL to get use to the Evoker abilites and spells for practice and Got the “Reach 49 to continue”, which is funny since we’re all 60.
Looks like it’s been fixed. I managed to do The Archon’s Answer quest as Claedra said.
I can confirm it now works for me suddenly as well. I was in Oribos and was going to screenshot to show a friend and noticed instead of the “Requires level 49” it said I needed to pick up “The Archon’s Answer” in Bastion which now shows on the map too.
