Convince me to stick with Evoker… I made the mistake of dabbling in my arcane mage and now it seems more fun. Sucks because now I feel like I wasted a week starting with Evoker and thinking the shortcomings “weren’t bad”. /sigh

Then switch, nobody can tell you what you enjoy. So tired of all these people complaining about this or that on evoker but still continue to play it instead of switching to a class they clearly like better

If you want to heal stay with Evoker, if you dont see any value on healing, reroll mage. Devastation sucks, and in any case you only get 1 spec.
You always go safe with Mage.

Play what you feel is more fun, mage feels way slower for me now after trying Evoker, can’t really go back to mine as much as I want to but your experience is different from mine.
How are mages slower tho ? Honest question.
You dont even need to ramp up anything, you start doing damage asap.

They are not slower, it’s more that they “feel” slower, similar to a fury warrior snd DH, both classes are fast paced but DH feels “faster”

Try the Annihilator fury build from fury.
Its fast as hell
Stick with your mage. They at least have sides you can choose and build around instead of only focusing on Disintegrate as the main damage and only top damage; beside the living flame spam, unless you get nice procs.

I say stick it out, come on its our expansion…we only have 2 spec’s Blizz won’t leave us hanging till next Exp…right? We are their new baby.

I wouldn’t play evoker over mage. I only play evoker because of the healing spec. I think the devastation spec leaves a lot to be desired. Statistically it’s relative solid, but I’d much rather just play mage or warlock and enjoy a (much) better designed DPS class that’s more fun to play and has better survivability.
