Evoker or Druid?

Theirs are cool too. I just prefer druids’.

Personally they both get pretty dull very fast for me.

Evoker, dev especially, is insanely thin on abilities and depth.
I haven’t tried pres, but I am also not a big healing fan.

Aug is going to be the bigger pick out of the 3 if you are going for dungeons and raids. And imo it’s more fun to play than dev by a mile.

Druid, I was almost always a bear/kitty. Balance CAN be fun, but that tends to vary by season and build.
Resto can be super op, but it’s a lot of hots. Just something to think about.

Imo I would go monk if you want a multispec toon since they can do it all. They tend to be the most fun all around. Especially if you want a healer, fistweaving is back!

I cannot decide yet I think I am going with evoker since I have two dot classes and with balance will be 3. Is feral fun?

that’s good to know, ty

As much as I hate being stuck as a cat/bear/chickenman/Temu-Shadowform, Druid > Evoker.

What are you looking for exactly? Do you want a dps spec that is very simple where all your damage is tied to one single ability you spam over and over?

Do you like a healer that has a bit of a complicated kit with different interactions you have to plan out? Healing that requires a bit of setup so you have to prepare before damage goes out? A big part of your difficulty being your 30y range and frontal abilities?

Either way, they’re both satisfying in their own ways.

I can’t speak for druid as I don’t really play that. Resto druid though is another healer where you have to prepare for damage to go out.

as balance/resto druid, you can still turn to cat and stealth which is additional fun

as evoker, you experience playstyle that is different from the previous classes which is also fun

its hard to decide but my vote is on playing evoker

Never could find balance druids fun. Evokers on the other hand, super fun.

Having played my druid since Vanilla in 04 and played an Evoker all of DF. I will simply say play what you enjoy. Druid has more options in playstyle while Evoker is quite fun once you learn the range limits and how to overcome them with positions and using Hover to your advantage.

Laser chicken is fun, way more fun then a dragon.

Resto is fun and easy.

TBH i hate dealing with druid forms and kind of wish you just shifted automatically in combat.

I find balance to be pretty bland as well. Devastation can also be band, but it’s the bland with the lowest APM in the game for my poor wrist, which can’t seem to take much anymore for whatever reason.

Once you got the combos on muscle memory it’s not too hard.

I find it the right amount of challenging to be enjoyable without being mind boggling to grasp. Can be frustrating to play in certain scenarios. Such as fights with moderate to high amounts of area denial separating you from other players. Or fights that encourage players to stand out in narnia.

What content do you plan to do?

I find evokers fun but healing can be annoying at times due to range and needing the party to be stacked for optimal benefit of certain spells.

Rdruid is a bit more forgiving, but it’s a lot of keybinds and spells to learn.

Nah, Dev evoker is vastly more fun to me. Hover and shooting lasers into three to kill things while bombs go off and surges shooting arcane missiles everywhere. It is fantastic.

Can’t get into the play style of balance and I’ve tried so many times. The back of forth and the eclipse system is just bad IMHO

Literally you 14 days ago.
If you wont listen to yourself, why would you listen to us.

I prefer Evoker over Druid:

  1. Dragon themed
  2. Empower is a fun mechanic
  3. Dream Flight / Deep Breath are really cool abilities

So as a healer i would pick resto druid because thats my favorite spec and class. But competitve wise. Go pres for easier interrupt and lust

Hmmm so a Human/elf that turns into animals, or an animal that turns into a human/elf?
Go with whatever speaks to you more I guess

Having a battle rez is such a game-changer as a healer, so I’d have to go with Druid personally. But I also don’t know Preserver’s kit very well.

Druid 100%. 40y range (45y with talent).

Druid has more variety. Devestation Evoker is just very boring. It’s probably the simplest rotation in the game. That might be a good or a bad thing depending on your perspective. I find it very dull. When a majority of your damage is coming from 1 ability the class just isn’t very exciting.
