Evoker or DH

Hey guys between these two classes which I enjoy I was wanting to stick with just one, but which between these two would be a good recommendation to stick with as a long term main class I plan on raiding with friends and pugs and the same thing goes for M+ with playing with friends and pugging

Secret third option Monk :dracthyr_a1:

The main question is whether you prefer ranged or melee?

Well I m comfortable with both ranged and melee , but I’m not sure which one would be more valuable in both raid and high mythic plus keys like 20+ and I would be pugging sometimes too

Demon Hunter has the advantage of Tanking

Evoker has the advantage of Healing

Demon Hunters are elves

That’s honestly a super tough choice.

One thing to consider might be the fact evoker gets a legendary.

DH is better all around, evoker is too weird with its 25 yard range and when you have to stay far away from boss you cant do anything and slowly walk back into range. Dhs can just fel rush back in.

Also consider the legendary costs TONS of gold in mats+has 0 positive effect on you. Its solely meant for teammates. If OP plays devoker, the legendary is garbage and adps loss. Crafted weapon>legendary for dps.

More like you want to be an Edgelord or Furrie.

Dracthyr aren’t furries, you actually need…you know…fur…for that type of thing. They have 0 of that. They are also pretty much humanoid dragons so.

DH has the biggest advantages in keys and raids, due to moving around a lot with insane mobility, 5% magic damage debuff for other casters, and having more tankyness then evokers do. They are very squishy and die to pretty much anything in high content.

Furries is just an all term. Anthropomorphic Dragons fall under that area. Unless there a sub-class just for them.

Dragons arent real to begin with, so not really. Unless your speaking for what the internet furry community thinks, then that isn’t factual either - they aren’t scientists nor do they have any official classification of things. Dragons as far as fantasy goes, are ā€œscaliesā€ for scales. In reality the komodo dragon is the closest thing we have to a true dragon and it has no fur either.

No you don’t met furries with Dragon ocs before with scales :dracthyr_comfy_sip:

The furry fandom is a subculture interested in fictional anthropomorphic animal characters with human personalities and characteristics.

And considering Dragons are giant Lizards well >.>

Then they can be classified as ā€œScaliesā€. As a off branch of the Furries.

Going by what scientists use IRL for classification, yeah furries and scaled animals are different things entirely. I’m glad furry fandom are not scientists, they don’t act on logic for anything at times or study things well. They probably think snakes are furries too lol.

Some furries are scientists actually one of the Scientists who helped make the Covid Vaccines is in fact a Furry.

It’s just a fandom name and is occasionally used as a catch all term for Anthropomorphic Animals not supposed to be ā€œscientifically accurateā€ :dracthyr_comfy_sip:

Male evokers can look like elves with their Visage form though.

Well first off, do you prefer melee dps and tanking, or ranged dps and healing? Do you want to be an edgy elf asking ā€œwhat have you sacrificedā€ to a dk, or a kinda wonky looking lizard. Do you want to flex on DHs with a new spec, or scream at Evokers for getting a new spec?

Evoker is the way to go

I say give Evoker a go and see how you like it.

If you don’t like the playstyle give Demon Hunter a shot.

Ultimately even if we all said ā€˜Choose X’ you would need to test out the class for yourself and see if it matches how you enjoy the game.

DH Brings magic debuff and a tanking option that is actually pretty good in M+ now with Aberrus 4pc.

Evoker brings a bloodlust and very high AoE damage, a healing option, and later a weird hybrid DPS option.

I would go with Evoker if you are comfortable with the simple playstyle and dealing with the extra utility it brings.
