Evoker Legendary in 10.2 PvP

Any chance we can see Nasz’uro the Unbound Legacy get an item level boost for PvP even only? The reason I state that is in PvE, without the 70% reduction in the proc in PvP, the 457 ilvl weapon is about equal to a 480 ilvl in stats.

A very cool weapon for the expansion that feels bitter sweet as a PvPer to replace for an Honor or Conquest Weapon so early in the 3rd of 4 seasons in Dragonflight.

With the 70% reduced effect in PvP, it doesn’t feel wildly overpowered, and a PvP item level boost for this weapon could be easily introduced. My idea would be to through a profession (or several like in the Nasz’uro questline) a recipe that increases your PvP item level to 489 like the conquest weapon, with a Spark of Dream + Greater Verdant Trophy of Conquest as a work order.

agreed, that would make sense.

it wouldn’t though.

Yeah let’s take a weapon that was a huge flop in terms of acquisition and make sure the people that killed heroic 20+ times with no drop have their misery extended.

There’s bad luck protection for heroic and mythic, most spent 200k+ Gold and a lot of time acquiring it for it now to be totally obsolete.

But making it viable in pvp longer by increasing strictly the pvp item level somehow extends misery?

so what lol

yes. making an obsolete item from an old raid nobody wants to run anymore would just make those who never got it feel bad

I personally would love to see this. I got it and replaced it almost immediately in the new season. Most legendaries in previous times have lasted till the next expansion in terms of power. Feels like dragons got cucked with ours but yeah lets let all the melee have another one reign supreme.

So all the evokers that couldn’t get it after 20+ weeks get to keep trying to find sark kills while literally no other classes would want to go back?

They could honestly tweak the badluck protection and add something along the lines they did for the new one. Give people something tangible to determine the bad luck and help progress towards finally getting it.

There are other things that also drop from the raid. Personally I still dont have the mount skin for the Highland drake and I continue to try to run it this day.

Yeah, short of giving people the legendary at this point or literally guaranteeing it on the next kill, this shouldn’t and isn’t going to happen. Running old content for drops relevant to new content is awful.

If the lego makes a return at all, it’ll probably be via denari from fated raids in season 4 like they did for Shadowlands.

If you got the legendary, the weapon you have is not even CLOSE to better than the legendary, lol. It’s not even higher ilvl.

In a game of loot and chance eventually repetition grants success regardless.

Shadowlands quite literally drained my soul so I didn’t play much after season 1 hah.

If it made any return I would be happy. I spent loads of time farming for it and once I got the start, I spent quite an investment just to basically not use it. Didn’t feel like shadowmourn or even any of the legendaries from quite literally every other expansion.

I only have a normal raid weapon that is 476 and it beats the DPS by 2.3k

Your armory shows you having a 450 weapon equipped, weird.

This does not create a compelling reason to bring back a weapon that has better (and more fun) alternatives in this tier.

I like the idea of the buff personally, also sorry I had my pvp gear on I had to swap over and run some sims lol

Oh no worries, that’s why I was confused lol.

Yeah I mean I get that rationally people feel connected to the legendary and spent time/money making it, but imagine killing Sark on Heroic literally every week of last tier and not seeing it.

I never want to go back there, nor would I at this point even if it were available. It was a horrific acquisition model and the legendary was (thankfully) not insanely gamebreaking, but at this point it’s nothing more than a cool tmog thankfully.

You’re asking for a legendary from previous tier to basically be BiS in PvP for this tier?

If so, horrible idea. No.
