This is not looking good. You guys dangled the fun flying ability for one short questline then put it on a cooldown? What? Are we dragons or monkeys with wings?

Looks like the same issue as Shadowlands. You gave all the beta invites to streamers then gave no voice to the casual players who want to have fun.

When are you going to realise that giving streamers a voice is cancer to games? Their job is to get clicks, and they get clicks by creating drama on manufactured controversy what if ism. The success of their channel is getting a bunch of kids to absorb their awful opinions and spread that controversy around.

How many expansions are you going to let the streamers ruin? At least one more apparently.

So long as streamer keep getting free content to feed there viewers and Blizz keeps getting free(generally positive) publicity from it…forever.

Yes, they do give them to streamers for free marketing. But I got one, my wife got one, many people in my guild got one.

Thousands of non-streamers got them.

Should they have a flight mode like worgen have a run mode? sure, would be cool. But the soar cd makes sense imo for that particular ability.

The cooldown is especially a pain in the start zone.

Go for the rare elite or treasure chest you see on the map? Well if you do, Soar will be on CD and then you’ll have to go AFK for a few minutes before you can continue with questing.

Lame.

So like, what do you do on all your other characters? Just never move, since you can’t soar?

They even give you a ground mount for goodness’ sake.

I really wish the devs would respond to this.

The current state of Soar is very immersion-breaking.

Well, I watch a number of different WoW streamers/content creators and every single one of them said the Soar ability was garbage because of the cool-down/restrictions.

So not really sure what you’re on about when it comes to blaming streamers for the state of the Dracthyr.

Other characters don’t have start zones where the next objective is 1 km away. Sure I could ride there on my ground mount, but it’s probably faster to just AFK for 3 minutes while waiting for Soar to refresh.

IDK I zoomed right through their zone without any problems but then again I don’t go looking to create problems for myself so that I can sit AFK and complain about having to sit AFK lol.
