Sooooo I am learning and trying not to completely fail at evoker healing. How in the world do you all heal through these crazy bursting stacks this week?
Anyone have any tips?
I am trying to get my evoker to 2k io and I can’t pull it off with just 13s this week looks like

Have rewind ready for when your group doesn’t know how to cool it.
Also temporal anomaly and/or normal echo + dream breath is your bread and butter for most situations. I find a rank 2 dream breath provides a decent burst of healing if people are low, while also leaving you a decently long HoT.
Be sure to use Verdant Embrace first to buff the dream breath.
There’s also the, TA/Echo + Verdant embrace + Emerald Communion wonder combo, that’ll save your group from most things. Be sure to pre-hover though.

The sage advice for healers everywhere that aren’t priests would be to just skip it if that’s an option. How badly do you need KSM?

Thanks for the advice!! I played a few and definitely had to hold CDs for crazy bursting. I am also not the most fancy at playing my evoker healer either so the tips helped my brain instead of just desperately pushing buttons at random lol.
So true. My main is a holy priest and I am super spoiled with her…for bursting. Not much else though lol.
I was aiming for KSM on my evoker for the heroic token. Still have 2 champ tier pieces and getting a heroic one for sure makes me happy.
Got lucky and I am now KSM on her. Yay! Started the day at 1500 ish.

Congrats. Bursting is honestly awful without mass dispel. Every group manages to tick bursting along for the maximum possible time because they can’t get the idea through their heads to hold dps and let it drop off. No, it has to tick down to 1 second at 5 stacks, get refreshed to 6 and repeat until you die. There’s a reason healers skip this week.

I agree! I will say though, NL seems like an easier key to run without Mass Dispel. I will probably run all of my non-priest healers through that key this week for their weekly vault run. Less big packs to the point where bursting doesn’t even seem to be an issue.
