Evoker Good Changes or Nah?

1.) Able to attack and cast in Visage Form, which would require a Visage Pyre, Azure Strike Animation. As well as when Hover ends in Dragon form it auto-transforms me into human form and after every dragon, the ability is done it auto-shifts me

2.) A better mastery of preservation.

3.) Blood Elf Female and Male Human option for Visage.

4.) Disintegrate to move while walking.

5.) Echo removed off Essence costs and make it cost mana.

6.) A healing version of Disintegrate that will cost essences. Similar to BFA Azerite Necklace the Spirit of Preservation Ability will cost 3 essences and a major filler healer beam to help tank healing. Castable while moving as well in a red-green-bronze magic beam whichever Devs choose. (Preferably Red Magic cause heals have no Red magic spells)

As well as change the Lifebind Talent to trigger off this spell.

7.) Essences Abilities in Preservation no longer cost mana.

8.) A talent modifier or glyph for Verdant Embrace to instead send out a projection of yourself instead of dashing you there.

9.) Dream Flight to scale 100% off mastery like the counterpart DPS evoker tree Deep Breath in the DPS tree.

10.) Removal of racial and hover talents in the Evoker tree and make the baseline. Like Clobbering Sweep and ECT.

11.) Renew Blaze to have an instant initial heal.

12.) Reversion to have no charges and stack double passively. Putting Echo Reversion will just be convenient and it won’t cause it to apply 3 HoTs it can only be 2 Max.

13.) Emerald Blossom goes from 3 essences to 2 essences.

14.) Ruby Embers be baseline on Living Flame. Making Living Flame literally cost .2% mana cost because like I want to DPS in a boss fight but my build is mana extensive so I really can’t besides through the weave of Firebreath and Disintegrate for mana. ON DPS USE ONLY LEAVE THE MANA COST FOR HEALS.

15.) Living Flame goes to 1.5 sec cast time baseline. Also, casting Living Flame will cause an effect. Essence burst chance per cast will cycle up per successful cast of Living Flame. So cast one will be a 25% chance, cast two will be a 50% chance cast 3 will be a 75% chance cast four will be a 100% chance. Then after it procs it will recycle.

16.) Temporal anomalies work like an unwavering ward but 30yd range. Hops in a sandlike fashion but is very bronze-like.

17.) Preservation Disinitgrate no longer costs essences and instead is a 0 mana cost charge-based spell that has 2-3 charges and 15-30 second cd ( DEVS CHOOSE). When Essence burst procs reduce this cooldown by 5 seconds or whatever to still get that flow when we get essence burst.

18.) Hover not interrupt casting when casting mid-way of the cast. Hover removed off GCD.

19.) Soar to have no cooldown and function like dragon riding.

20.) Glyphs to change our Green Magic to Red ruby magic. (total red dragon fanboy here)

21.) Cycle of Life Talent to have the flower bud follow the target.

22.) Flutter Seeds Talent to recognize when your blossom only hits one target it will shoot additional seeds to compensate.

23.) Panacea talent to split the healing AOE rather than on the Evoker player caster.

24.) Font of Magic Talent to actually affect Dream Breath. As it stands it doesn’t increase the healing or the duration. It is such a useless talent for Dream Breath not for Spirit Bloom because it actually grants it an additional hit number.

25.) Spiritbloom to heal 2 targets Rank one Empowerment, so when we fully charge it will be 2-3-4, and with the talent to increase changes and Font of Magic it will hit five people.

26.) Why are there Two Modifiers on Verdant Embrace? We have Lifebind and Call of Ysera.

I don’t even know what to say about that it’s just weird to me it makes for way too many strong combinations.

Example Preemptively store stasis your Anomaly 3 of them, Verdant Embrace, Release Stasis, wait 3 seconds for echo applications, Dream Breath, and boom tons of heals.

Example Preemptively store stasis your Anomaly 3 of them, heal like normal, release stasis, wait 3 seconds for echo applications, cast verdant embrace, emerald communion, boom a communion on 8-12+ peoples even more if you are burning essences to echo additional players.

Like what? Move this somewhere else and limit the amount it can go on. This is not fair to other healers. Put Life bind on the new Disinigrate healing beam I suggested plus it will make more sense since its red-life magic and would lessen the annoying modifier stack on Verdant Embrace.

27.) Some new talents because Ourobous or whatever it is called is trash as well as Spark of insight and exhilarating burst,

I hate that there is no downward connector to the other talents to go straight down from the second talent tree for example look at the talents life givers flame, and lifeforce mender they all connect straight downward but the left and right sides of the trees can’t and that’s dumb and build locks me into talents I don’t want like Emerald Communion for raiding yuck and I’m not a blossoming player so even more gross to go that route.

Exhilarating Burst: This should just be a flat-out improved Critical healing by 20-30% instead of Essence Burst.

Ouroboros: Is awful because it really has a horrible Ramp up.

Should be replaced with talent Empath and Empath should have its effect tied in with Dream Breath maybe reducing effectiveness by 50%.

Spark of Insight: is nearly impossible to weave in as Heavy Blossom builds because Reversion has charges. Which is weird because it is in the build path for a heavy blossom build. But yet it’s really gimmicky and rare succession to utilize.

The source of Magic should be restoring 1-2% of Resources and Health for the selected player and should also affect the player caster.

For example, I can cast it on the DPS as a Devastation evoker and we can get the benefit. In doing so I will aid in delivering energy, rage, fury, focus, and whatever the dps have nowadays.

Why? Out of a long long fight from brood keeper heroic it restored only 26K mana. LOL. As well as the modifier heal talent only healed 46k.

Yeah, I know it’s a lot but I don’t know I feel like it will be excellent changes. It would give them a niche and allow build flow and just be well-rounded better. With proper tuning, it wouldn’t be overturned and evoker would solidify their place as a healer that can flex in many roles without having to be so stressed all the time or gimmicky; they may perform well but they feel clunky; the rotation is not smooth.

If they don’t I wouldn’t mind I won’t stop playing the class until Restoration Shaman is fixed for PvE. :smiley: But yeah thanks for reading :smiley:

Turn Unravel into a dispel/purge
Make blessing of the bronze a % haste buff or % speed buff (and why does it have a 15 second cooldown? No other raid buff has this right?)
20 SECOND KICK BASELINE (we are the “in between melee/ranged class”, we should probably have a good kick, and I mean for devoker this isn’t even a choice is it, you are always taking the shorter kick talent in pve.

1.) I agree with the kick thing being the baseline. No other class has to talent to reduce it haha.

2.) The haste buff would it be 1% or 3% like the druid Versatility buff of Mark of The Wild?

3.) Unravel I like it being a shield shatter since we have a dispel inside Firebreath. But that is only in PvP. Perhaps if they add the dispel in PvP to PvE as well it would suffice? Overloading the class may make it too OP.

They would have to lower our Hover CD to compensate since its 35-sec cd without the buff.

Yeah basically whatever the other buffs give, like Mark or Int buff. If the did make it grant haste. Move speed would probably be kinda meh as an actual buff but it would be fun I suppose. The current CD reduction on movement abilities feels like no one notices it except the evoker because it makes hover’s cooldown less painful.

I mean it does help the already mobile classes like DH a lot. But I can definitely see what you mean because Priest Leap of Faith reduces CD is so odd lol.

The problem with all your changes is that you’re not considering balance.

If you use any thing that changes your appearance like Noggen Fogger they already have animations for them. Pyre the character leans back and shouts out a ball of fire, Azure Strike you do a slashing motion.

Yeah, but we gotta admit a few polishing on the animation would be nice. Especially since if you are in costume Disintegrate comes out ur mouth but your character points his arm out for the channel. They should modify it so it comes out of your hand.

1.) The removal of essence mana cost will be balanced because you just increase the mana cost of empowered abilities to compensate.

2.) Echo being moved to a mana cost could properly implement skill with having to manage mana as an evoker because as it stands only TA is a build that mana must be managed properly.

3.) A healing version of Disintegrate would compensate for the lack of filler or tank sustain button for the evoker.

4.) Reversion allows double application passively through recast and no charges will be balanced through nerfing Golden Hour Talent. Personally, I think Golden Hour is a bit buggy and heals more than it should.

5.) Living Flame being a lower mana cost in DPS aspect is normal, look at Hpriest smite, resto shaman lightning bolt, Resto druid Wrath, virtually no cost at all.

6.) Living Flame being reduced cast time and more upkeep on essence burst is what the player base has wanted. Living Flame is lackluster and weak and the fact I can cast it 5 times using the leaping flames and not get a single proc of essence burst is not fair.

7.) Living Flame getting Ruby Embers is to increase the value of the filler spell.

Balancing can be done it is not impossible. Just wanted to try to explain my thoughts and how they could be balanced. I mean blizzard has a whole team and yet evoker still feels gimmicky.

The reversion change shouldn’t happen because there’s a class called druid.

You say that but they still added the component anyway. As it applies just like Germination/ Rejuvenation when you press echo. Just a more grindy and unrewarding besides for TA build and or in PvP.

Also, I would totally feel you on this if they had some kind of essence burst mechanic ON OUR ORIGINAL REVERSION not the SECONDARY APPLIED BY ECHO. But they don’t so Reversion is lackluster unless you are a TA build or PvP build.

Also, these HoTs don’t spread and make new HoTs like druids do. They also are crit-based HoTs not Haste-based HoTs like druids.

If anything it feels more Shaman than anything because of Golden Hour is similar to the Resto shaman riptide initial heal and then HoT and then Eartheverliving proc. They both even have 2 charges.

Also, you say that but they created Mistweaver and that is literally a rehashed version of a restoration druid. It is literally a restoration druid with the capability to burst to heal with their HoTs Renewing Mist and Enveloping Mist and Essence Font; to get an extra extra heal for healing. As an old druid main I hated when they added Mistweaver it took from druids and not only druids from Shamans. GROSS HEALING MONK.

no, echo is already super strong, removing the resource would either reduce healing from the echo or the application of echo… or make you go oom super quick.

Echo is working perfectly fine and is the mechanic of the class. Wish they put more thought into reversion tho.

Preservation is working perfectly fine. It has its issues but that is revolving around Stasis and the mastery not being applied to certain things.

A decent choice, but it shouldnt be a glyph, should be a talent, some fights are extremely bad for mobility healing. And just talenting in and out of it would allow for a mid range gameplay. Lowers skill ceiling tho which isnt always a bad thing but you will have to look at the higher end to see if its worth.

What i would say is it should be a choice talent and should either, Apply a heal over time amp on the target, or apply healing Wings to the target (same mechanic as verdant embrace just green wings flapping down on them real quick). It wouldnt be confusing in PVP, it wouldnt be something that causes you to be out of position.

The solution here is basically to keep Disintegrate in the game but offer a more aoe Damage rotation. Aslong as disintegrate works it isnt a problem, its damage is decent and with the upcoming buffs it will by far surpass everything except probably convoke and disc dps. Also bake in the Energy Loop talent. It is rarely taken. And the 20% increase should be ontop of what we are getting.

Removed from GCD yes, Work like spirit walkers grace, yes. Not cancel when you loot, yes. It basically needs a review.

I would even suggest 5% slower movement speed for perma hover. Aslong as you can get out of the mechanics. And then just turn the hover charges into a dash. Altho i can see how that would be considered OP. Maybe a 1minute duration on 4minute CD or something.

Font of Magic does not increase Healing. i would like to clarify that. What it does is increases the upfront heal or damage of Dream Breath/Fire Breath. You should be using rank 1 Dream breath 90% of the time any way.

What they should do with Font of Magic is make it have a 30% (100% chance when using tip the scales) chance to proc the ability twice. This would allow for a higher damage window which Prevoker current lacks vs other healers.

No, Make TA a ground target effect which places the TA on the ground for 7-8 seconds and procs an Echo, Turn Nozdormu Teachings into it ticks a second time on same targets with echo.

TA is one of the only representations of Time magic in the game from the Aspects point of view. Applying a second proc under the teachings of Nozdormu is completely understandable and within Lore.

Fluttering needs a full rework and the start of it begins with Spiritbloom, Spiritbloom should be 20second baseline, The talent choice after it should offer to hit twice as many targets for 50% healing, or offer to apply 2 fluttering seedlings from each target. This would help with raid healing (not that it has a problem with it) and would also complement a Fluttering seedling playstyle with Emerald Blossom and spiritbloom being your focus and time magic not being involved at all.

Both Mandatory. They complement each other with out contesting with talent space.

Stasis should be baseline. Stasis talent should be a Reversion playstyle that is a talent choice (we dont have any capstone talent choices like most classes).

Choice one: Reversion crits now Aoe Heal the nearest 2-3 targets for 50% of the healing done and deal 50% of the healing done as damage to nearby targets.

This would improve out dps in dungeons and raids aswell as allow us to play the Reversion playstyle that the 4piece wants us to play. Atm on bosses like Terros its more viable to just TA, Lifebind, Living Flame or Emerald Communion, or DreamBreath , or Spiritbloom. It becomes very boring and Reversion is used maybe 30times in the fight. Its actually safer to just put Echo on the tank and put reversion on the other one and use that to farm Living flame procs.

Choice two: Reversion now heals 50% faster after an empowered ability is used.

Extremely powerful for M+ and strong in raid but would be overlooked except for certain content.

By replacing Stasis you would open up a double capstone of Reversion and Emerald Blossom.

This is basically what everyone wants. BUT i would also say make it baseline. It is something that you instantly think with Dragons and should just be a baseline ability for Preservations. Even make it so Deep Breath and Dream flight are swapped when swapping specs from Devoker to Prevoker. Nerf its healing by 50%

Dreamflight has no synergy with anything in the talents and i would say this is the chance to do it. Allow a talent to make it heal 50% more bringing it back up to its current level, but offer it a Projection like Sindragosa for DKs. This would not put you out of position, Would allow for you to keep healing and the healing would be the same.

yes for Prevoker, Devoker would just need a second option but more HoT options for both dps and heals should be allowed.

By removing the essence cost we will be able to cast fillers better. It also is not mana efficient to try to Echo the entire raid and cast spirit bloom. Perhaps the counterpart would make the echo duration change from the current 15 seconds to 6-8 seconds when the essence cost is removed.

Echo is working efficiently in PvP, and in Keys and Raids, it is not used. We utilize the TA build component to apply echo. In no way ever do I ever Echo directly in the raid or keys perhaps when this situation happens.

In this rare situation:

1.) Tank is dying because no one healed him in the raid or HoTs on him and I have to echo, tip the scales and spirit bloom and time dilation.

2.) In keys I wasn’t paying attention and TA could not reach a particular group member so I echo verdant embrace/spirit bloom/ dream breath.

Other than that no. I rarely use it.

With this change, we could echo and reversion effectively on tanks in raids. We can echo and living flame a couple of people and hopefully get some procs. We could spread echo reversions better on people without reliance on TA especially more so since TA is getting completely ruined in the .5 patch.

2.) The point of the Reversion change is to be a filler. We have no healing filler. Living flame is a joke, too slow. wet noodles heal. This will not feel like a druid this class is far from a druid more of a shaman than a druid.

3.) You say it’s working fine but it feels one build pathed just like Devastation and it is going to be even more so after the rework on TA.

4.) I would agree with you about the talent. But I don’t because they have trash talents thrown in like the ones relating to our racial and hover.

I kind of want it to be like the mage trainer when you go and talk to them and tell them you want your blink pathing changed.

5.) Preservation evoker will not get any AoE component if they have too much. Deep Breath, Fire Breath, Azure Strike. The problem is their single target dps and mana sustain.

When we want mana we take energy loops especially for TA build and yet we lose essence. Which in turn loses healing output.

I would love for an energy loop baked in. But I firmly stand by essence cost 0 being 2 charges 20-second cd reduced and refunded by a couple of seconds by essence procs.

But no way I don’t want the perma hover. Perma casters while walking feel weird to me. Niche on temp and higher skill cap. I would argue this for the DPS ones purely because it feels awkward for them to DPS and moves at the 25 range.

7.) Font of Magic should increase the healing. If the charges are expanded in Spirit Bloom, it feels so weird that it doesn’t do anything, it should increase the tier of dmg and healing and duration of HoT/Dot for dream breath and fire breath. I never take it because it is so trash.

Yes, I always pop empower level one.

8.) TA changing how it applies will not change that it is still bronze magic and will still have a bronze animation and bronze spell school. But as it stands it’s limited in content and highly unable to be used effectively in a lot of PvE aspects as its to short duration, radius is gimmicky and travel path can be nuisance. It is nothing compared to healing rain or efflorence.

I do not want it gone I want the application buffed and in no way do I want it to be Chi Burst like they are developing in .5 patch.

9.) I would like that for Spiribloom to proc seedlings not sure about the rest.

11.) You won’t be able to utilize your Reversion choices. TA is being ruined in the .5 patch so all these talents will be lack luster.

As for TA build many people love the build. I absolutely love it I feel like a Disc priest in TA builds but more HoT-based and Shield based and I gotta weave in DPS for mana. In blossom build it is gimmicky and I want to have a more substantial filler but it is like a weird circle of healing with a random burst HoT from dream breath. In PvP, I feel totally like a Rsham with the Riptide because of golden hour and reversion. As well as the powerful casted heal like a shaman pumping in a Healing Surge or a resto druid swiftmend.

12.) WiSh Devs would mention this can’t believe they didn’t add it. The syndragosa DK thing might turn people away because they like the dragon doing that and especially the devs.

I wish it more worked like you cast it functions like emerald projection PvP talent and you steer it and it during the channel/cast its steering and spraying the heals.

As well as I agree no talents synergize it is odd.

In Heroic Brood things can get cwazy real fast so yes, you have too. Especially when your Tank is a DK and his HP is dropping fast.

it actually keeps the same healing number based on what level you use. A level 1 and a level 5 will heal the same. The heal is minimal at level 1 but the heal over time is huge… by the time it reaches level 5 it will be the opposite. A Rank 3 is a nice one to fire off every so often as it gives a medium heal and a medium HoT.

This also applies to Fire Breath. Which i try to never fire off a rank 1 unless im in stress. Its the exact same damage, just over time or up front.

Font of Magic makes the HoT extremely minimal and its not really worth taking for Dream Breath. For spiritbloom however it can be another person getting 100k healing so its worth it.

you sort of want to do Echo and Reversion when the tank is taking insane damage because of Golden hour. The way golden hour works is any reversion applied to the target heals for 15% of the damage taken in the last 5seconds. Both the Echo and base reversion will apply this. In a tanks case it can actually be a super high number, it potentially has no cap aslong as the target has been alive for the last 5seconds. Ive had 150k Golden Hours in raid but only because other healers were keeping him up while i was channeling something.

Will also say that Reversion once applied will not reapply any damage taken in the last 5seconds. It resets it

I’m stating, It should just increase the healing. Making tier one heal more over time and increase from 16-20 seconds.

and continue so forth. Paired with flow state it will feel even more impactful.

It will be giving it the value of the talent. Instead of making it a dead talent.
