So I just wanted to throw some ideas out there for possible Evoker Glyphs. Since most glyphs are basic cosmetic changes and not actual function changes, I’m limiting the ideas to that.

Glyph of Chromatic Breath - Changes the color of Deep Breath to a multi-colored, chromatic flame
Glyph of Frost-fire - Changes the color of Living Flame to a blue flame
Glyph of Chrono-fire - Changes the color of Living Flame to a golden flame
Glyph of Molten-fire - Changes the color of Living Flame to a blackened, smoky flame

sadly Evoker doesnt even have a Glyph tab, so I doubt they will get any this expansion at least
Nobody has a glyph tab. They’ve been solely cosmetic, and have applied directly to the spellbook since…Legion?
Yes to all of those (except the ones that take away from Dracthyr form. I’ll never be on board with the visage, it was a mistake). I wanna be a full bronze Dracthyr without sacrificing half my kit.
Having options mean you can exercise self-restraint and not make use of all of the options available. However, if you don’t have the option available, you’re stuck. As such, it doesn’t hurt you in any way for Visage and Chosen Identity to exist, because you CAN just stay in Dracthyr form permanently.

And I do! It doesn’t hurt me…outside of mild annoyance that it’s even a thing. Dragons and Dracthyr should not care about hiding their true form to make the lesser mortal races feel better.
A glyph tab as in if you go to the auction house, under glyphs Evoker does not exist.

I got to testing around with some mogs last night, with my LFDraenei (Similar body shape as Draconid) to see how they would look with some dragon-ish themed armor on. It would be a simple thing to use their skeleton and reskin it.

ok but these shouldnt be gylphs. we should be able to dragon fly as ourselves and pick whatever race for our visage by default. blizzard just didnt want us to have fun
I dont think the solution is to apply another level of Body type for Dragon form. It already has 4.
Looking at the lore within the game. Dracthyr were created to fight dragons because the Drakonoid could perform at the levels required for it (no wings really).
If Drakonoid was going to be a thing it would need to be its own race and have 0 access to evoker. Being limited to Melee classes while Drachtyr would be limited to ranged classes… Hunters and shamans might fall into Drakonid territory while Druid would be off the table altogether.
Drakonid does not work since they do not have wings.
How has it been this long and evokers still have zero glyphs?

Literally easiest addition to Evokers and I seriously DREAM they had this.
Barbershop has an option for your Aspect/Flight. There be 6 options.
- Default - as it is now
- Red
- Bronze
- Green
- Blue
- Black
Each choice essentially aligns you with your chosen Aspect/Flight cosmetically I’ll list an example.
I select Bronze, when switching Visage to and from it now shows a more Sand cosmetic (in game already used by Nozdormu), when I Soar I get Sand visuals off my wings (in game aswell), and my spells all take on a Bronze/Sand aesthetic (all in game spells and visuals have been used by NPCs, Living Flame - Sand Bolt visual, Bronze Coloured Disintegration, Flame Breath - Sand Breath etc)
Literally all visuals for every flight really already have an equivalent that’s used by NPCs in Dragonflight expansion.
We should be able to use these.
For arguments PvP players won’t know the difference, Aspect/Flight selection for Arena/Shuffle/BGs are set to default when in the PvP instance then return as normally selected outside.
I love Evoker but you see NPCs with all unique visage transformation aesthetics, spells and all, why can’t we use them?.
I wish we could as Evokers, specifically choose which we flight we more align with, it’s huge addition to a Evoker Flavour.

Glyph of never getting any glyphs: you possess no glyphs and never will.
that is actually awesome, insane that is the only class without glyphs

The default is Red.
When we shift in and out of our Visage, we burn with Life fire.
Each flight has their own effect:
- Green is a green version of Red, really.
- Blue seems to be a mix of Arcane and Ice magic.
- Black is earth and rocks.
- Bronze uses time and sand effects.
The issue is that this is a spell effect, so it makes more sense to attach it to the Visage spell. A glyph would be more appropriate than placing it in the Barber Shop, since the effect only appears when we use that spell.
