I wonder if when Demon Hunter came out, if a 3rd spec was created that made Havoc (the most iconic of the specs) completely useless, would the devs have allowed havoc to be a meme spec for the entire legion expansion and shadowlands going forward.

As long as Augmentation is not a dead specialization, you will be pressured to switch off Devastation. Welcome to the infinite wisdom of Blizzard where they add a single support-styled specialization into the game, label it as a damage dealer, then refuse to add more supports.
Adding more doesn’t fix it.
If they add it to warlock, it would just kill all warlock specs

If no, why does it matter. Remind everyone else if you aren’t pushing world first it doesn’t matter and just play what you find fun.
I have no idea why people who don’t push world first care about what the people who do play.
I’m playing arguably the worst race racial wise and I don’t care cause I think they are neat and the only thing I’m pushing is Paz 1st so only person I compete with is myself.
