I really don’t like looking at this big doofy dragon model all the time. Especially at the character select screen. I get that it’s part of the “class fantasy” and that you get the visage option. Transforming while using abilities. Cool. I can get behind that. Your non dragon visage gets amazing customization and you’re defaulted to basic afterthought dragon form. Kudos to anyone who enjoys tromping around in it.

I really like how evoker plays, it was my main for season 1 and 2.
But I want to play around with transmogs so I’m switching mains for S3.
…like not even their class tier armour fits them, the armour designed specifically for them doesn’t fit that’s just lazy.
And they have the nerve to display the armour on the visage form when they announce it, lol.

Honestly, I feel the same. If someone has fun with dracthyr, more power to them. But I can’t take them seriously. They’re so goofy and unappealing to me. When I encounter one, be it the forums or in game, I just think “Wow. You really picked that, huh.” Lmao…but I guess we all have different tastes. I’m not liking the race or this expansion as a whole, really. Now, if we had gotten drakonid…whole different story.

There’s some logic since they’re known as Dracthyr but visage forms are still functional for dragons. 
edit: Wait, did we ever explore the Dracthyr visage forms yet?

We’re running low on outrage topics. Look at the OP! It’s malnourished with very little bite to it! Won’t someone at Blizzard think of the ecology of GD, and feed these poor, sickly posters?
Dracthyr had 3 issues for me:
- Missing full transmog capabilities
- Super restrictive visage forms that were also gender locked
- Female Dracthyr form isn’t distinct from the male. I would have liked to see a more pronounced, feminine, chest. It’s a fantasy game in a fantasy world, I don’t care that “reptiles in real life don’t have breasts”. There are literally reptile NPCs in WoW that wear bras and bikini tops.

I agree about Dracthyr having a goofy look, they should be more strong and wild. But at same time, i don’t agree with those people asking for combat while using visage form. Makes no sense, Dracthyr power come from what they are, not from a disguise. Also, we have many playable elves already.
In fact, visage form should not even exist. Blizzard created it just to skip the work of adapt all mail sets to Dracthyr body.
There’s a crap ton of customization for Dracthyr form.
Visage form is even uglier.

Considering transmog is one of WoW’s biggest successes, I’m really surprised the evoker is so limited.
I agree that it’s a derpy looking salamander thing, with wings, that it cannot use.

I haven’t seen a single Evoker/Dracthyr that’s made me think they look awesome.
