I enjoyed leveling the evoker so much I almost want to start another one. But you can only have one power server.
I dislike them. They look dumb, the abilities are meh, they sound lame. Mog in dragon form and visage forms are lame. The lore is dumb and i feel like retcons chromatic flight stuff.
Hard pass on this one

Yeah, they could had released ANOTHER Drizz’t fanfic as a race instead, that would had been fun.
Because of the amazing things I’ve seen players do to make their Dracthyr look amazing and unique, I have very much warmed up to how they look. I do think their abilities are kind of underwhelming, except for the healing stuff. I love this new healing spec, I think it’s pretty fun. I am not as much of a fan of the DPS spec though, to play as.
Who cares about lore!? I’m here for the loot! Lol.

Meh. Dark elves would be better than super soldier dragon locked away for 10k+ years that combine all the flights that he forgot how to do in cata when making twilight flight
They shoe horned a caster into a dragon fantasy cause of the current class makeup and then made
Even blizzs own cinematic shows them with weapons yet they have no melee class
I like the class but the lore is def on the Star Wars sequel trilogy level of lame story telling. I have to ignore it and make up my own head canon…
I heard Preservation is fun but Devastation doesn’t feel very satisfying to me.
Merged Servers let you have more than one. I’m on Uther-Runetotem so I can have two Evokers. If you’re on one of those that have 3 or more merged servers, you can have several evokers. I’m seeing some merged servers with as many as 7 together, that’s half a dozen Evokers!

You’re aware blood elves are just Dark Elves with white skin right? That’s what i was referring to.
They tweaked some of the lore here and there but the inspiration is obvious.

They were a split off of elves from long ago that go addicted to magic but were allies with humans and dwarves against the orcs.
When the undead murdered their magic source they turned to fel but later went back to the sunwell when it was reignited in BC

They dont ally with anyone really and just kill each other for power. Maybe void elves are the closest but those blueberries arent that close more crazy than evil
I agree 100%. The look like a child’s plushie toy. Absolutely no threatening presence whatsoever (in a game where everyone is in a constant state of war and violence). The visage form is a joke. They even have Ebonhorn say dragons pick anything they want for visage yet we are locked to those two creatures. Ugh I just wish we had drakonids:
I love the Dracthyr. The fact that they aren’t roided out hulks is one of the best parts. I’m a healer only player so I can’t speak for Devastation but Preservation is a ton of fun. It brings elements of my favorite healers and combines them into one.
Now if we could just get ranged players to be more willing to play within the Pres Evokers range that would be helpful. Just bc you can stand a million miles away doesn’t mean you need to.
