Oh, wild, I was kind of hoping for an Earthwarden tank spec or something but I guess this makes more sense considering they’re delicate little casters.

- Conjure a pair of Weyrnstones, one for your target ally and one for yourself. A weyrnstone can be activated by the bearer to transport them to the other Weyrnstone’s location if they are within 100 yds.
Its a good thing I have 55 yard range and can use this new teleport gate to continue hitting someone from 55 yards away.

now that i think about it… usually blizzard avoid changing the basic kit of a class, so like… to be a proper tank they would have to change the basic skills that are just cast abilities that evoker has, and since they never did that i suppose a tank would never happen anyway.
Another example is the basic kit of dk and demon hunter that are melee abilities, a spec that is full caster would need replacemente of those that blizzard simply does not do

Happy for buff spec wanters but wish they had made a bard instead
So instead of finishing Devastation they made another Evoker DPS spec that’ll potentially also feel half-baked with minimal keybinds relative to other specs.
Meh. Maybe it’ll be cool. The buffing aspect sounds neat as a subversion of the role trinity, and support role buffing specs can be really fun in other MMOs, but we’ll see if Blizzard can pull it off.

Specs like this are going to drive the Min/Max community in PvE crazy. PI already causes so much outrage and now they add this. It looks fun ngl and might pave the way for a bard class but it’s going to be rocky. I’ll have to buy lots of popcorn

Monk might have been super cool with a ranged dps chi spec but idk about DH

They could legit give DHs a ranged DPS spec. Half of Havoc’s abilities are already ranged anyway
Also, the game could use more ranged specs
Yeah, and they could give Shaman or Mage a tank spec and Warrior a spec that shouts at you to walk it off as a heal. It doesn’t make it any less dumb.
