Well, I woke up today ready for violence so I decided to start watching the evil dead movie. It’s pretty creepy.

I watched Smile last night. I was impressed. Not a favorite or anything but pretty good for scary movie in 2023.
Favorites would be: Sinister (to this day the lawn mower home video and the pool stuff gives me chills), The Exorcist, The Shining, and Seven.

The Exorcist has to be up there in the all time rankings. I put the original Amityville Horror there as well. Both really got to me because they take place in the character’s homes, a place where you should feel safe.

I’ll add another one, the 1970’s version of Invasion of the Body Snatchers. I think it holds up, and is very creepy. Donald Sutherland, Leonard Nimoy, and Jeff Goldblum really stand out to me in that one. hell, all the cast does.
