Arms feels 10x easier to punish than fury from my experience. I have seen arms warr die 50-0 through parry but never seen a fury warr die through enraged regen this season

The main benifet of having 40yd grip is to land uncounterable grip setups on healers with good positioning. A caster that ur running at will rarely ever create more than 30yds of space between you and him especially if it’s not a big map.
Yes, but current Lock iteration has so many tools to deal with Melee in general. Asking to tune down melee gap closers (in this case DK) is absurd.

CD is twice that duration. With Imp instincts it takes 2 secs off CD every five sec…… if you’re being hit literally every five sec it would take it down to a max of 18 sec. But let’s be real, if that’s happening then you’re probably dead. Hyperbole never helps you make your argument.

I dont think boomy is the top damage every game, i regularly see it get beat on streams, in game, and in tournaments by ele, aff, and sp. It REALLY feels like aff lock. Yeah it’s top dam, but it’s triple dots accounting for 50% of it. And even then, sp/ele/aff do it better with more hps.
I think 1s off clone NEEDS to happen and see how that feels. It’s a nerf to all druid specs, but moonkin more than any other.
Im all for a damage redistribution of damage away from dots and into surges or something, though.

~110k crit with a low end being 30k. Keep in mind that that doesnt account for goldrin procs (15-50k on rng) and this is on 6-700k health pools.
Tbh id like to see mastery nerfed and base surge damage buffed so there isnt such a wide variance and the top end is lower.
Its frustrating because when you FIRST PRESS INCARN, you basically have 100% crit chance for your next 3 surges. So there are these silly moments where you have 6 ticks of dots (2 from 3 dots) and 2 FOE ticks for about 10k each and 2 surges proc goldrins and they all crit so youre seeing this 400k burst in 2-3 globals.
So basically what youre saying is you want Assa rogue/frost mage/FOTM healer spec back on top.

Yep! That’s why I’d like to see the base buffed and mastery interactions nerfed. It feels SO bad spending 40% of my resource bar to do 30k damage on a 650k health pool because a healer pressed dispel and I have no dispel protection. I then spend 2-3 globals re dotting to do my “normal” amount of damage and then the bonus crit window is gone and I have no crit so I’m still doing mediocre damage. By that same token, It’s equally dumb when someone gets 80k essence break into 200k worth of death sweep with 350k damage from the moonkin and you die with 1 left on the stun with your healer in a root beam to ENTIRELY instant cast spells.
Agreed. I think rot does need to be a viable playstyle for the game in the same way that rogue/mage hit-and-run playstyles should be viable. If they just take out CC and nerf burst then the game just comes down to who can pve the best and that’s not fun for anyone and even more of a balancing nightmare.
Rot in particular should be a viable playstyle because it offers a soft counter to that hit-and-run playstyle and can punish sustained “train that guy down” zug strategies. However, it shouldn’t be an auto-win ever and is dangerous to pair with exceptional CC/mobility.
There are many ways to counter Death Grip. Starting with Grounding totem. Just need to have a feel for the game (something you obviously don’t have judging by your comments)
