Abilities just disappearing once log out and back in (i.e being a fury warrior and cannot dual wield) , anyone able to have anything work decently well right now? Or we just stuck waiting for hotfixes tomorrow?

Logged in earlier today and was met with a ton of bugs. Logged out and came back a few hours later to even more bugs. Most notably that it seems all skills given by talent specs simply do not work after you relog.
I’m waiting until hotfixes tomorrow.

The answer is to roll a shaman. I’ve yet to run into any ability-related bugs 
Edit: I spoke too soon, logged around to move some gold and materials, and when I got back to my shaman I lost Lava Lash and Dual Wield and had to pay for a respec…

I logged out after fishing and lost Templar’s Verdict on my Ret Pally.
I had to go to Stormwind and reset my talent tree and choose Ret again and then Templar’s Verdict showed back up.
Unsure if it works for all classes but I have some people say if they swap into their dual spec and swap back it fixes things the same as respeccing does

I logged into my shaman earlier, and my totem hotbars, yes the totem ones, not the normal hotbars, had a freaking quest item instead of a totem. In my totem hot bar. No, with no add-ons either. I am speechless at the number of things that are just wrong.

Same for me lost avenger shield after relogging makes tanking some what difficult

When I turn in a quest or level up my frames go from 165 down to 10. My whole screen freezes for a split second.
It’s terrible.
These have been ongoing issues for weeks in beta. If they could fix it in a day I feel like they wouldn’t have pushed this version live.
My 80 demon lock on alli side is having felguard die every time I login. Felguard has to be summoned from book. can’t drag icon to bar. Arms warrior is having Mortal strike play hide n seek. It vanishes from book and from task bar. Not grayed out. just gone as if it were never there. Blue post says they’re patching spells tomorrow. all abilities will be reset again. I guess I will hold off on specing the rest of my toons
All of us from the PTR/Beta have been warning you guys for weeks that this was going to happen.

At least you still have your Felguard spell in your book. Mine just flat out disappeared when I logged out once.
It’s gotten better. The pre patch dumped me 50% less.
I’ll take that. Some nights in beta it was as Joseph seed said.

The issue is being caused by logging out and back in. My entire play session today (1-30 on my shaman, nice start) I only ever encountered this bug once when I swapped around my characters to mail some gold and profession mats. The temporary fix is to just respec. Some people have said changing your dual spec talents also works, but I can’t confirm
Other than that, I haven’t encountered any major game breaking bugs. The worst I’ve seen was having to run the script to leave a dungeon, and my professions all being mix and matched. My cooking fire is alchemy, my engineering is cooking fire, my first aid is engineering, and my alchemy is healing rain-
I’ve noticed this too. I suspect it’s related to the game checking the quest rewards against your appearance collection and adding the new ones.
Yeah my talent spec didn’t bug until I logged out to send my character some gold. Then when I logged back in my off hand was unusable (no dual wielding) and no Lava Lash, it basically turns off Enhancement base talents.
