This is not a rant by any means it’s just an observation.
It took me 45x to get my memory, my buddy has run Plaguefall at least 20x’s with no drop (other hunters got it before he did of course)…I read on wowhead for that hunter leggy someone took 49 tries.
I don’t think it was really necessary for Blizzard to make it so…tedious…to aquire leggo’s…I don’t know what they’re worried about…people are gonna play the game but it seems like they’re struggling with content so they have to put in all these timesink/gated mechanics to stretch out the game and get us to play longer than is really needed…
how many attempts did it take you guys to get your memories
Yeah, i think the base expansion had a lot of potential but the more you play it, the more you can feel the hand of the people whos job it is to drag things out. I feel like it’s constantly a big priority to them, they’re never stopping and thinking "Is this activity fun?", they’re thinking “What’s the maximum amount of played time we can get out of this activity if we pad it in some way?”.
It depends on what you enjoy and what you don’t. I’ll take Shadowlands over Warlords of Draenor, Legion, or Battle For Azeroth. Whatever issues Shadowlands may have at least I’m not dicking around in my Garrison or running Island Expeditions for Azerite. I spend way less time gathering Anima than I did gathering Artifact Power, which means I spend more time doing the stuff I enjoy, like PvP Battlegrounds.
I’d prefer people stick around and provide feedback, if everyone just left as soon as they didn’t like a specific expansion, the game would be dead. I stick around for my friends and guildies, kinda just take the expansions as they come, some i like and play more but others i dislike and barely play.
Took me zero runs. But I had to wait 4 weeks for the world boss to be available to get one of 2 bis for my spec - the other being behind a full clear of CN. Shrug*
I understand what you’re saying and I’m not promoting the idea of people unsubscribing from the game.
I’m simply stating that if they’re that unhappy with the state of the game… then come back later or not at all.
I am burnt out of SL which is why I am unsubscribed currently and playing Destiny 2. I recommend the same to others if they are not having fun with WoW.
I look at WoW as the plain white rice of my diet, i wouldn’t just eat it on its own because it would be boring and i’d tire of it very quickly so i need all of those side dishes to keep me going, for me that means single player games mostly on console, stuff like Red Dead 2, The Last of Us 2, Cyberpunk etc etc.
