There are no rocks anywhere in the zone, everything is bark. Even the few paved roads there are are made of tree.
The entire zone is husks of trees inside of larger husks of trees
Do with this information what you will

They should really start branching out.
See you found the root of the problem.
Maybe I’ll go there and set down roots.
Careful you don’t Fall when you lumber in there
Really wish I could like this more than once.
You all laugh! But i challenge you to find a rock in this zone that isn’t a graveyard or summoning stone. I can’t. I’ve looked. Even the cliff sides, upon closer inspection, are either just dirt mounds or bark!
I have not known peace since this discovery.
Rest easy, my friend. With this knowledge you are free to live in a glass house
How would we make the glass without the necessary rocks!
Teldrassil II : The BBQ
Ok, i think its time everybody leaves, these puns are starting to branch into Dadjoke territory.
Ardenweald feels like Blizzard is trying to remake the Night Elves. The zone being a giant tree is remaking Teldrassil, because they didn’t have as good technology or experience back in 2004 to make a giant tree zone. The Narnia type people there look very similar to Night Elves. There are big walking trees, although they are not as imposing as Ancients of War. They killed off Ursoc only to introduce an identical character seconds after telling us of his death. It is always night time in the zone.
Back on topic with a pun… I can’t think of one right now. Guess I’m stumped.
Don’t tell Sylvanas
i did’nt think there wood be so many puns…
well… yeah, the npcs say there isn’t any stone there. so… y’know, not new information.
All information is new if you didn’t know it.
Of course like Teldrassil the Death Realm of Ardenweald is still just a pile of logs and stumps with dirt covering it rather than an actual Tree Zone!
I’m so glad I’m not the only one who reads quest text. It’s always funny when someone who just clicks through quests tries to talk lore. Haha
Doggos everywhere approve of this.
Everything in Maldraxxus is hair, flesh, or bone. You might think I’m wrong, but search your feelings: you know it is correct!
This is actually a minor plot point in one of the covenant campaign quests.
