Everything has a bubble nowadays

DH gets a bubble

hunters get a bubble

pal gets a bubble and can throw around 2 pseudo-bubbles

mage gets a bubble (or two)

like can we cool it with giving classes invulnerability and stop balancing around it? The game is literally broken if you have to rely on bubble-type skills for your entire survivability

Bubble? I’m missing something…?

the only immunity originally in the game was pally bubble, so all immunities are referred to as bubble.

It’s all trash. At 268 PvP ilvl my Druid main can be taken from 100% to dead without my being able to perform a single action.

WoW PvP is so close to being fun. But being totally unable to do anything, whether it’s because of an opponent’s invulnerability or because of crowd control on you, is so frustrating and un-fun that you’d have to really hate yourself to keep doing it.

You know the bubble rule guys!

ALL BUBBLE-BLOWING BABIES WILL BE BEATEN SENSELESS BY EVERY ABLE-BODIED PATRON IN THE BAR

primal tenacity needs to be added back.

reduced duration of fear effects and also reduces damage taken while stunned.

these talents were HUGE for pvp!

I believe we hunters call it turtling?

i actually choose my pvp classes on the defensives they have available right now, specifically immunities.

pally hpriest hunter and rogue so far :P(cloak is basically bubble in way more cases than it isnt.)

What bubble do DH’s get?

nether walk and darkness

Don’t you touch my bubble I finally got it back for holy!

It’s not that there’s bubbling, but whether you can use a DCD OFFENSIVELY. Mages and Hunters can’t use their bubbles offensively.

I’m more focused on why I can do enough damage to frag someone 2, 2.5, or 3 times and I can still lose. Blizzard tries very hard to balance damage, but when it comes to HP resolution they overlook that a lot.

A [MM] Hunter’s HP resolution is some 130-150% of max HP. You take a Paladin who has Flash, WoG, LoH, and SoV. In a 1v1, I have to do TWICE the necessary damage at the same ilvl to win against a paladin before he does his. And for the sake of balancing, a Marks or a SV is not necessarily higher in burst and DPS than Ret.

For Paladin, there used to be a tradeoff, that Avenging Wrath caused forebearance and your DPS is halved under bubble. This is what I would support more, because I’m sick of seeing it now when people have a DCD that completely turns damage off without any sacrifice to their damage.

DH bubble is a damage immunity but doesn’t provide CC immunity. As a priest, mind controlling him on Netherwalk will actually nullify it as a CD (unless otherwise stopped) and will prevent him from being healed.

Turtle’s a deflect, not a bubble, which means keeping dots on him and being mindful of things like interactions with Ring of Peace provide some forms of counter play to them.

Does Craven make this difficult? Sure. But Turtle’s not really a problem. It’s FD on a 15 second CD + hunter dmg.

BoP is purgeable by a good amount of glasses. Pally bubble itself only has MD and Shattering, but with priest presence in the meta right now, paladins being bubbled requires some protection from their dps or some forethought involving stopping the priest from MD’ing.

Same deal with pally bubble.

You don’t though. Are immunities annoying? Yes. But the game’s not balanced around them. Damage is too high because of power creep and far too slow balancing especially regarding conduits. Not immunities.

I think you mean magic turtle shell.
