I find it so funny how all the “big" time WoW streamers are all playing Fellowship and posting pictures on social media of everyone else playing it and saying how good it is. Everyone knows that in a few weeks these people will all be back on WoW and never touch that game again. Only doing it for the views and not because they actually enjoy it. WoW will always be the 1 game people stick too.
Of course they are. It’s a new game that will generate views. Does anyone care to watch late season WoW M+ at this point?
And by most accounts it is fun…as long as you’re not a solo player.
people can play two or more games you know …
Shh…. Don’t tell that to the other games I have on my computer please. They all think they’re special ![]()
I think, and hear me out, that Fellowship can surprisingly garner a solid playerbase. Which may seem antithetical so many WoW players who might just RP or relax and enjoy the vibe, but there are enough Mythic Dungeon Players who see WoW as a dungeon run game instead of enjoying the open world.
But WoW just has too much going on for it for our pure dungeoneer playerbase to leave. Fellowship would need to implement way more creative dungeons rather than just tank and spank that WoW has. Puzzles that pushes the engine, like the Zelda games; Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom especially.
Anyways, I remember when Wildstar came out and I thought it’s dungeons were better implemented than WoWs and it had HOUSING! 11 years ago. But it was too hardcore so the game died. I will cheer on Fellowship from afar, because it can encourage WoW devs to be more creative with their dungeon design. But as a casual RPer who enjoys the open world, I’m sticking to WoW.
