Everyone wants all the bugs fixed all at the same time

[small indie company intensifies]

At this point, no matter the game/company’s parent company, i don’t see this game getting back on track, not like it use to be.

Is expecting bugs to be fixed but not so many new ones created at the same time not unreasonable? We paid for the xpac and subs - it’s normal to be annoyed.

I know that one! It also NEVER STOPS spawning the little mobs, even after the boss mob is dead. Thankfully being a druid, I can shapeshift if I’m fast enough to get out of there, but I feel for anyone who has to summon a mount if that quest ends up bugging out on them.

along with the 90 dollar mount that made them tens of millions of dollars.

but according to people like OP apparently asking for a reasonably working product that isnt constantly breaking is a bridge too far.

You’re not making any sense. The game is so buggy it’s hard to decide how to spend my time. Reputation contracts do not work on half the world quests. My guild bank was ravaged of all my collections. My talents do not work in certain mythic plus dungeons. I get disconnected mounting a skyriding mount and hitting my first action leaving the ground, every single time. I lose gold in the mail from my auctions on the auction house. “Can’t equip shields” error on shaman and paladin. Those are just a few of a long list from just my experience. Have you seen the bug forums???

Or they could, I don’t know, not release a buggy mess from the start?

Class bugs > raid bugs > dungeon bugs > everything else.

If your tier set is bugged (Sin Rogue) or if your entire spec is bugged (Outlaw) then you aren’t going to be raiding or aren’t going to be enjoying it.

I can tell this thread is going to be an instant classic but I agree. Fix the bugs and people can enjoy TWW expansion!

And they are the same people that will have complete and total breakdowns if maintenance goes over 5 minutes, and if there is, infact, a maintenance, on the same day it has been for 20 years.

Proper maintenance should be finished before estimated time if done right. If maintenance is consistently over the estimated time then the estimated time needs to be adjusted accordingly.

Don’t shill for them, OP. The game is in a bad state and deserves to be trashed on.

Maybe it’s not the devs fault and the higher ups are just pushing for quick profit, but still, we have to be as loud as we can so they can see that what they’re doing is just not right.

If you order and pay for a burger but are given a salad would you ask for the issue to be fixed or start telling everyone in the lobby to stop complaining?

When you experience tons of bugs every play session, especially ones that can be game breaking it doesn’t reflect well on the game company! It’s very frustrating when you’re say running a timewalking dungeon after collecting some nice xp buffs (That come off when you die, foreshadowing) and you get bonked for 10x your healthpool by some random ability from a mob you didn’t even have aggro on. Or when you’re sent to your death to plague in undercity on every alt, or alts in the 50-59 range not having zidormi to turn back time… Or the constant disconnects from moving

The problem is that people paid money to test this game, and told Blizzard about a lot of these problems months ago.

Blizzard has been given nearly infinite resources… so the expectations are high. It’s offensive to find they wasted so many resources on failed projects/paying out csuite members instead of re-investing those resources into the game.

Identifying which teams are effective and improving teams that are not is part of resource management. It isn’t the customers job to give good feedback either.

It’s on Blizzard to wade through the feedback they get good and bad – process what they have been given, decide what to address and how to address it… Their solution as communicated by deafening silence and anon reddit posts from “Devs” is basically “We don’t read your feedback, and we need more money cause you guys are unrealistic.”

So it makes sense for people to start getting nasty.

Look at PoE 2. They decided to delay the game over data concerns and needing more testing time. So the game director releases a video apologizing and taking 100% ownership for it and some transparency about the issue they face… and the community response is universally loved.

Really at the end of the day, the community you have is the community you foster.

Blizzard has a bunch of angry pessimistic MMORPG junkies starving for anything they can get… and they act like manipulative narcissistic drug dealers who only care about making money, with a low cost high yield product.

I’m all for being nice and respectful, especially to eachother. But Blizzard kinda deserves the angry Karen treatment they get… cause they don’t listen when people are nice.

Does the burger have lettuce and/or a tomato on it?

If it does are you going to say it counts as a salad?

Of course not.

That’s different. You walk up to em and they just replace it no hassle.

That we can’t do this being literally the reason that we air our grievances on the forums is lost on you isn’t it?

It’s two different things. Fast food will replace it in less than a minute. You don’t even need a receipt. That’s like comparing car sales plane ticket sales. Their only similarity is they deal with the public. Blizz is crap, but your analogy is, somehow, worse.
