Lately for the past couple of days I have been having an issue where any time I exit a loading screen, everyone will be running in place around me and I am still able to move around freely but I cannot use abilities, mount up, or even use the logout/exit functions to close out the game and am forced to Alt + F4. This has gotten me kicked from a lot of dungeons because as soon as I zone into the instance, I can’t use any spells and everyone is running in place so I have to Alt + F4 and log back in hoping the group didn’t kick me before I reconnect. Does anyone know how to fix this issue or what could be causing it?

Same issue that’s been really hindering me bad. Randomly people run in place but chat still works. I force close WoW, and the launcher keeps going from Play to Launching… over and over whenever I click the button. Then when I get into the game, it loads into character and then disconnected so I have to repeat entire process again.
I wouldn’t say it’s my internet connection since I am in Discord VC during this without any interruptions.

Same exact thing is happening to me word for word with what you said. I don’t know if internet connection has anything to do with it because I too have been in discord and such and my internet is perfectly fine. I actually have extremely good ping in game even when I’m getting these DC’s so I don’t know if it’s a server thing or not but it’s really weird that it pretty much happens after a loading screen.
For the last month or so this has been an issue for me in WoW and Diablo. I have run various diagnostics and tracked cpu, gpu and internet usage. Each time it happens there is a surge of info sent from Blizzard and a drop as soon as the everything catches up in a blur.
This is also happening for me. It’s so frequent the game is almost unplayable
I’ve been getting this a lot as well, especially in dungeons or capital cities. If I go to enter a delve to popup takes forever sometimes. Closing the client and reopening it seems to get the connections to sort themselves out.
I started having this a ton in the last few days. It seems mostly location based and partially character associated. Some I can be logged in for <2 minutes before I get disconnected. Others I can play for an hour or two before it starts depending on what I’m doing/where I am. Certain zones/dungeons/activities are worse than others (for example, mining on my DK in Northern Barrens is totally fine, cross over into Southern Barrens and the game becomes unplayable. My mage is unplayable no matter what I’m doing). Nothing I’ve done has seemed to have any effect.
It appears like Blizzard is starting to get this sorted out, thankfully. Hopefully it stays that way.
