Everyone peeved with the new news about DF

This is why you never ever preorder.

Nothing is set in stone, and the product you pay for when you pre order is almost never the product you get.

Just buy the game when it comes out and after there’s a chance for real feedback to be given

I bought it yesterday.

it is, what it is.

If spending money on an unfinished, rushed game in an extremely volatile state is your cup of tea, have at it

Some preorder due to constraints that may unfold later and had the funds then versus waiting and possibly not having it at release.

Which can be said about any and all products, be it games to kitchen utilities.

Pre order or no there will always real feedback. The issues at hand it one side is communicating, another side is rabid foaming while others are twiddling their thumbs. All in hopes the ones who are doing the development are getting the info, or at least making attempts to communicate back to the concerns that have been made - which given since TBC, mostbfeedback basically gets noted and nothing more.

I’m going to buy the expansion regardless just for the story content, so not pre-ordering is pointless.

i’m just disappointed there isn’t a lot of nsfw content on dracthyr.

Is this still about group loot?

Many people know they are going to play the game either way. You can be “peeved” about changes being made and leave feedback about it but still enjoy the game.

I pre-ordered, I got the mount and pets. Whether I’ll be able to play the game to any degree will depend on whether they fix the UI or if someone writes an add-on that fixes the new interface.

The mail, tracking, character, etc icons are far far far far far too small to be useable on a laptop screen and my poor eyesight. Currently they can be made bigger, but it also increases the size of the mini-map and action bars, which is beyond idiotic. I hope that they uncouple that.

Likely. There will be a hundred threads a day from now until at least 6mo into DF with people complaining about group loot. They can’t help it, their favorite streamer convinced them that prior to personal loot only every single piece of loot in the game was ninja’s by a cabal of evil raid leaders.

It’s just crazy because every single person complaining about it is completely misinformed. Just wild to see

It’s a straight up improvement on personal loot in every way.

I’m not sure who “everyone” is but i’m not disappointed. I haven’t pre-ordered yet but will in the next couple of weeks for the CE Goodies.

Thinking about it now, it would be hilarious to hijack a thread talking about nsfw furry content. Though got a strong feeling we would be mass reported quickly and “escorted off the premises”

Yeah 100% would be mass flagged too oblivion

They always pull a last second change that is very unpopular. You would think people would learn by now…

Probably, odd that people who don’t even really raid are so concerned over a loot system that they won’t even see.

It’s a little weird.

If you have constraints that may unfold later that will stop you from buying a game, you absolutely shouldn’t preorder the game. I’m amazed and perplexed that this seems like a logical reason to anyone.
