Everyone needs to delete their characters

You dont get it, you are just not smart enough to understand the point.

The insult is that the presentation of them insinuates they are a “reward” and that debate is the sole focus of this post. Races should not be a reward nor require time put in on some other race character just to play, especially if all races going forward are going to use this model. This expansion offered absolutely nothing to anyone who wasn’t at least 110 and frankly I find that insulting, but I can’t entirely blame them. The mentality among so many players that nothing before end-game matters made the devs think they’d get a pass on this but they certainly won’t from me.

I didnt even have an alliance toon, so I had to level some other damn race just so I can unlock the race I actually wanted to play and the only reason I even bought the expansion.
The game design is retarded. I would get a refund on this expansion if I could.

if you say so. i saw it the instant i started playing again and it was no big deal. they dont care if you refuse to do it, and i certainly don’t think that the vocal minority on the forums represents the majority view on the matter, no matter what you or others think. they have the metrics, they know who is or is not doing what needs to be done to get the races. they have already put something in place that comes on tuesday to make it easier. so dont get the races, it hurts no one but you if you want to play them.

The whole point has nothing to do with whether 99% of the people have done the requirements or a measly 11% because each of us knows we’ve done tedious things that felt unnecessary for something we want, in game or out. So I did my worker ant duties and paid my dues in log time for blizzard. But it was counter-intuitive to have to grind on one toon just to reroll a new one. None of the stories, save HM Tauren and NB Elves had any bearing on their races (debunking the whole “earn the trust of faction” mantra), and always ended up with just doing 7 quests a day that I had done at least a dozen times each already.

It was the worst part of all BFA “content” thus far and so I am speaking against it.

I’ve already done the cloth turn ins and pre cata loremaster but ok

That’s opinion. I don’t find it an insult that a reskin happens to be a prestige reward. I have base races. The subraces of those aren’t detrimental to gameplay and if they’re a reward for playing and rep, then so be it.

But to somehow say we’re all being insulted and shown contempt by the company? That’s just ridiculous.

its not a grind if you are just playing the game, it was not an issue when they were not announced and people got the rep just by playing, why is it all of a sudden an issue now?

oh right, because of some self inflated sense of entitlement. because you “paid your dues in log in time”
i paid my dues in getting the prerequisites done the way it was intended. i still don’t see the problem.

again, do the requirements or dont. ultimately if you want to talk about something being counter intuitive, arguing about something on the internet with some random stranger doesnt get you any closer to getting you the shinies you want and for me at least it is a waste of time compared to actually… doing it

 idc for lore i just want to be cute when i kill things or heal things . Until you can pay for my sub then you can tell me how ill play. :sunglasses::v:

Ok look and I am going to say this plainly. The core problem is a paying customer has no right to enforce its play style on anther paying customer in theory. Unfortunately and At present it seem the company is trying to do this. How it pans out we will see. As it seem that the company is siding with the customer who want enforce their play style on others. If you said I did it this way and now you have to do the same way I did. that enforcing playstyle. To make it worse when you had it. there was different ways to obtain it, increase reputation and better rewards.

The last 2 time they tried this. The result was a lost of paying customers. it would seem they failed to realizes the mistake of the past. As they doing it again for the third time. With recent loss of paying customer that was announced. It seem they been doing this in other games as well. That my assumption based on real facts.

That the core problem. they fail to realizes this is a mmo. Not a single player game. It has a vast amount of people who see, do and play in ways very different form other players. It one reason why BFA has so much wrong with it. They need to have someone who oversee this. Because this single focus on one group going to make the game boring and unappealing to other player bases. So far this not pan out for the company in the past.

They, like all races released before them, are character creation customization options. I will forever stand against any character creation options being unlocks. Your characters should have to earn cosmetics and rewards, sure, but your character itself should never BE the reward.

Death Knight. Demon Hunter. Both were locked behind level restrictions. So yeah argument isn’t supported by facts…

People saying the Forsaken and Night Elves were already apart of their respective factions during Vanilla. They had no explanation for being there until you actually played them, did their storylines, and exploring how they got there in the first place, yet you never had to get Undercity or Darnassus rep to do it.

It is a fun and engaging process for me. This will be the third allied race I’ll raise to 110+ and I’m working on two more. Like many things in game it takes a bit of time, but then thats why I play, to spend time in Azeroth and it is nice to have goals to work toward.

P.S. It is bit irritating how long it takes the forums to update avatars.

I wish more players would have cancelled their pre purchase due to this. Maybe then it would have changed. But I guess most players just gave in or gave up on these races. Not interested in any of them. The whole idea of having to “earn”, “work for” a race somebody might want to play is just so sickening and makes me wonder what’s next. The company is going down a dangerous slope and I really do not understand how anybody can be blind to it.
To the workerbees….I hope you are as concerned about yourself and others working in real life. Because that is where it matters. A game is for fun.

And once you reached that lvl and made them you could continue the journey with them without loosing any progress. No grinds or money required, just get to that lvl and continue on your new class.

Because those who didn’t play the game like you now are faced with a tremendous grind of a playstyle they do not prefer and might even have quit over. But that’s ok, just don’t complain when it goes against your way of playing.

Did pre Cata Loremaster as well and still do it in every new zone. But my raid achievements, that’s another story. Loremaster is questing. What is required for the AR is repetitive WQs.
I still stand by my point that this is ridiculous and punishing behavior from WoW devs just like Pathfinder. It’s like they want to punish players who don’t play full time through their newest creation.

Paying my dues in log was literally mean doing the requirements for each of the 6 races. I’ve done them all, and each was just repeating the same set of quests for several weeks. It took no actual thought-provoking play worthy of calling what it gave you a prestige reward. Instead, if gave you something that should have been open access from the start.

So I am not arguing as someone without the races. I am arguing on behalf of the huge population let down by the design choice of making character customization options on a brand new character something that requires completed end-game content. It’s backwards.

Speaking of Trolls, that is exactly what this post is…

And why is that? So you unlock the Allied race, race change whatever to it then log out until raid or mythic dungeon time?

above being Exalted for the mounts.
