Why would I play a version of the game where most players are fully maxed out in gear and naxx is completely with half the raid sleeping?

Real question for you. On era, I have a warrior that’s in R10 gear and some pre-BIS, and a warlock that’s in some MC/BWL gear
The only reason I’m even playing Fresh vanilla right now is because I want to do AQ40 and Naxx one time each to refresh the experience prior to TBC, otherwise I’m just on to make gold.
With those two characters, what are my chances of actually getting to run AQ40/Naxx on era? My 2019 main was not cloned, so I only have these undergeared alts.
Honestly, if I could hop on era and do AQ40/Naxx once each, I’d be happy with that and quit raiding in fresh until TBC.
… don’t have enough people in your guild to run it or something?
