Everyone knows, including devs, that TWW has a lack of horde presence

Since we all know that TWW doesn’t have any horde content, can we hope that in Midnight there will be imposing orcs thirst for war with big weapons chopping gods and demons heads off like Grommash?

You can hope if you want, but considering Midnight will be almost entirely focused on elves, that hope isn’t going to go much of anywhere.

It’s set in Silvermoon. Blood elves are in the Horde.

Hell, if you go by player counts they’re most of it.

I mean…the horde is mostly elves anyway…right?

Sure - add a bunch of sweaty muscular orcs. Who cares.

I do not get why people still care about faction in this game. Factions have been dead for years, Blizz just finally got around to burying them last expac.

I think evil factions are just unpopular.

WoW also doesn’t really allow personal stories like swotor where you can indulge in being evil. That or a light side sith to confuse everyone

Considering there is no development for orcs, this makes sense. Most will play elves.
No one will play orc because blizzard doesn’t develop them, the few good orcs are killed.

Horde can be badass without being evil.

Or Blizzard doesn’t develop them because nobody plays orcs.

This is a question of cause and consequence.

Elves have 3 windrunner sisters, a cute elf couple Lor’themar and Thalyssra.
Kael’thas is one of the most iconic characters in the franchise.

While orcs have… 2 orcs…

A castrated and soft leader Thrall.
Saurfang, old orc who died doing nothing.
“WHY NOBODY PLAYS ORCS?”

Make two brothers who are equivalent of Grommash and about 3 warlords who follow them, then have them kill void abominations and lets see if players won’t play as orcs.

There was literally 2 entire expansions focused on Orcs.

Are you okay?

They’ve objectively had more focus than any other race than maybe Night Elf.

Game objectively has more focus on elves for decades.
TBC, Legion, Dragonflight (most elven npcs ever), Shadowlands (Tyrande, Sylvannas) All these expacs had more elves than orcs, maybe more… War Within and Midnight will also probably have more elves than orcs…

So what you mean “2 orc expansions” is “too much” ?

We need a Scarlet Witch “no more Orcs” moment in WoW

Blood elves and Nightborne are Horde. So are the Horde forces including Thrall&Gazlowe, two racial leaders, in TWW.

Nobody played orcs to begin with. They’re ugly and your “I’m super into sweaty, shirtless, overly muscular men for completely straight reasons” crowd is pretty small and inconsequential.

WoW had thrall as orc leader day one, thats why.

Story wise in the parts of the game not gated by raids, was almost entirely orcs and draenei.

Focused on HORDE elves.

Focused on DRAGONS, not elves. We got a small part focused on the night elves because you know, YOU GENOCIDED THEM and blizzard already gave the forsaken back their home in Shadowlands.

If stretching was an olympic sport, you’d get gold.

And half the elf races are on the horde. The horde is not just orcs.

Illidan and Kaelthas being main antagonists, TBC is objectively an Elven expansion.

Dragons which most of them has Elven visages for no reason.

Shadowlands objectively had more elves than any other race.

Theres no “and”… game has objectively more elves than orcs.

Orcs has 1 expansion for orc. Draenor.
Mists of pandaria is a panda expansion which had orcs in the last patch.

This is NOTHING compared to elven material over decades.
