Was just online and about to log off to goto another character on Zuljin when it appeared I got logged off period. Log back on in town and theres no one there. Ghost town. But I can see folks talking in chat. Weird as anything. Logged off and on again. same issue. What the hell is this?

Same thing here. Did the anniversary fashionista event and I got 7 votes, people were active but saw literally NO ONE. Tried logging out, restarting etc.
Haven’t had this issue with NPCs yet, but did LFR yesterday, and then today, just now, the 3 world bosses in Tanaris and it looked like only 3-4 people attacking. Not sure if that’s a general issue for all instanced content for me, or if its limited to LFR and custom groups (which were also a raid).
It happened to me in LFR, in battleground AND in a party for a worldboss in the same afternoon, today. WoW is a broken mess currently, it’s worse than just the everyday lag and random disconnects.
