People are re-subbing because of HC and finally speaking their minds. You canât post here w/o a sub. As it turns out, Blizzard was just listening to the feedback of a bunch of people that never cared about pvp or the honor system. Everyone that loved it was waiting for a refresh to resub. But instead, Blizzard just deleted the beloved honor system.
They had one job.

Significantly lower than when my server was competing for it. I was hitting 800k and not even close to top brackets.

Ive seen standing 1 set at 1.6m before.
500k is a decent showing on a BG weekend.

Gear gaps and bracket mafias were how premaders ate.
The mafia is now obsolete and the gear gap is about to vanish.
Theyre feeling those hunger pains already.

All they had to do is make the grind pug only. And organize teams so the average ranks were about equal. Disregard faction. There, problem solved.
Have premade queues for a ladder or something. No honor. That way people who actually enjoy that kind of thing can do it. But no one would do it because the only reason pre-mades exist is to steamroll pugs. They donât actually want to face each other.

They cant even reliably make AV stay PUG only.
This was the only option that made any sense. Its a 4 year old Phase 6 Server. The PvP gear being made obsolete by two tiers of raid content while requiring the most unhealthy grind this shy of 100% maxed skills in Runescape was self defeating. Why even bother with such a grueling task for something you can easily replace from an AQ40 GDKP.
have premades
The moment premades cant face pugs exclusively, they stop queueing. Theres a reason Rated Battlegrounds died so fast. They outright refuse to face other premades despite all that good 
they love to talk.
Its also why 99.9% of them fold like a hot tortilla when theyre solo and not facing someone at a comedic gear disadvantage.

Well if you disregard factions, itâs very difficult to queue at the same time and end up on the same team.
