Everyone in my guild is 60 and im 55

I just feel like such a slowpoke when I have other things that need to be done and other games to play… I just feel guilty.

This is said 55.

dont worry take your time. the expansion doesnt get better at 60 and trying harder will have you slam up against the developers time gates on just about every content in SL. So theres no point to rush or panic. Just chill take your time and enjoy the levelling and questing, as of now it appears to be by far the best content in SL.

:man_shrugging:

Don’t worry about it. If playing other games makes you happy stick to it. It’s not like you just need to get to 60 and be done, you’d still have chores to do and if you’re still dividing your time up with other games you would still be behind your guildies who aren’t.

No rush, slow down. What’s to feel guilty about? It’s your time, you can spend it how you want!

WoW is a game, and games are supposed to bring you joy.

Play the way that makes you happy. No need to rush anything, Shadow Lands is going to be around for at least 2 more years.

I hear you. I just hit 60 yesterday. No way I’ll be raid ready by Tuesday. By the time I have the min IL, everyone else will be way ahead already. I guess there’s always alt groups.

As someone who hit level 60 really fast and geared as quickly as possible… it isn’t worth it. Trust me. You’ll be over here grinding your legendary for days like the rest of us. Take your time you are not missing anything important.

I’m finally 60, but only just finished Ardenweald last night. So I have nearly all of Revendreath to go. But I’m trying to do all the content zone by zone, both main story and side quests, mining every node, fishing every pool, doing pet battles to catch all the new wild pets and try to get rare versions, leveling up my professions, and generally enjoying the ride.

I’m just taking my time, and much as I hate to admit it, following the advice of the pandas to just “slow down.” (But make no mistake: they are still a plague upon the worlds, rolling around leaving trails of hair/fur/whatever, disgusting. But they are right about the slow down thing.)

Meanwhile, my guildies have almost all been 60 since day 2 or 3 of the expansion. They’ve been running together through dungeons, heroics, mythics, Torghast, epic battlegrounds, working on legendariies, etc. They check in with me to see how I’m doing from time to time, which is nice of them. I’ll probably do that group content when they are leveling their first alts.

Take your time OP, the expansion is going to be here for two years. Even if you are a week or two behind the pack, you’ll catch up and everyone will be at the same place by the time the next major content patch drops.

/moo :cow:

I’m 59. Maybe one day 60.

I got 60 on day 4 and I thought I was going slow.

You need to stop with the feelings and gaming and stuff dude.

We play to have fun not feel bad.

Has your Guild made remarks? If so then time to bounce maybe, if not then I’d stop with the squishy feels and keep playing at your own pace.

My Alliance Guild knows I played Beta, leveled many toons already in SL and frankly I’m in not worried.

That said I do have to get a move on though as Tuesday is coming with raid and M+ etc.

My guild hasn’t said anything negative and in fact encouraged me to take my time, its just my own anxiety that’s making me panicky. but thanks for the advice hopefully i’ll actually take it.

Well that’s awesome that you have a supportive Guild.

Yeah don’t feel bad Bella, I’m lvl 58 and I’m enjoying myself and Guild says you should take your time and I think that’s a great idea!

Patience.

Discipline.

That’s 5 levels of “I have other sh*t to do” you’re showing them. Be proud of it.

This is exactly what I am doing too, and I think in the end I will be really happy I decided to go about it this way :upside_down_face:

Are you enjoying the game? Because that’s what matters.

Play for your enjoyment, not for some potential acceptance by your peers.
