DKs are out there with a 12 second ams with close to zero cd.
Hello ? How do i deal with that ?
I’m pretty good at kitting but kitting for 12 seconds while eating full cds from the dk is a bit hard. I can block for 10 seconds on a huge cd.
Anyone else ran into this ?
I usually don’t complain much but i hit a wall with this one.
Use triune ward and wait until ams is down then combust and lol as you global the dk with all instant casts. Don’t forget to /spit
AMS is only good to stop magic cc and other nasty debuffs. It doesn’t absorb a lot of damage.
Its pretty good against spriest / afflic that don’t have great ways to break it as well. I’ve had situations where i had no dots on the DK and theres just nothing reasonable for me to do other than wait. Could pop it with mindgames if that is available, and that is about it
True but my mage is fairly undergeared. I get stomped through triune pretty fast. 12 seconds just seems a bit overvoard.
Except i’m a mage and i basically just sit and wait for ams to expire.

if you’re severely undergeared you just can’t compete, and i say that as like a 10-15 ilvl difference you’re probably just gonna get stomped
Seeing fire mages complain about any class just makes me want to see fire nerfed even more
LoL complaining about AMS… thats funny. All you have to do is wait it out. it lasts like 10 seconds and if the DK steps out of it hes done for.

I make it a point to spit on every DK player and prot paladin player for all past, present and future sins they commit
Give it a balance pass or two or next patch and we’ll see necrotic strike bumped back to 10-12% per swing as they sit on you with AMS/AMZ a newly buffed deathstrike to compliment it and 5 possible ways to interrupt you while maintaining 70% permaslow. Maybe a tank trinket as well to spiffy them up

Historically this is incorrect. Dks have been an absolute nightmare since their inception. They broke the 2v2 bracket and had glad removed from it and spends every expansion since stomping every other melee every patch nearly just about.
You also seem to forget the era of blood dk’s soloing 2v2 to 2400+ lol that was a fun time

They literally are designed to beat casters. Perma slow and a short cd magic bubble that makes you immune to magic cc while it’s up.
